Yes I had to remove the dash but it was a really easy process. Took me about an hour and a half in total, But it is easier to get in and out if you have a friend there, although I did it myself.

did you hook up the starter already?
if not one of those gets hooked up and "nutted on" (basically take the nut off and put it on the starter then tighten the nut up)..the one with protective cover..one looks like a ground...(black and yellow one I believe)..if I was there I could probably help out more.. .sorry good luck...if I am wrong please correct me

oh and is the transmission connecters connected up? in the top pic it looked like the two male fittings were not plugged up

Alright guys i have some issues. as you can see from the post above the car started finally, but we found out that the car was only running on one rotor. So we swapped ECU's to a USDM one instead of the JDM one, but now the car wont start even when we plug in the old ECU. I dont believe were getting spark either, but ive been working on the car by myself so i havent been able to check. any idea's guys

Wish I had an answer for you but I'm having the same problem on my na, I think from taking a multimeter to my primary coil I'm not getting spark either, thinking its wiring in the harness, not sure. Hope you figure it out, if you do let me know cause it could be a similar issue.

Btw nice build though! And glad to hear you got a job!

Did you perform a compression check on the motor?

Restab the Cas. Mine was off by one tooth and everything was messed up, including not having spark on one rotor.

Alright figured out are problem...

The trailing coil was shorting out my entire fuel and ignition system's so we undid the trailing coil, sprayed a little starting fluid in and the car started, and didn't sound like a tractor for once (only running on one rotor).

but now my fuel pump isn't pressurizing, also were only getting about 5 volts to it sans stupid old connections.

so got a new turbo pump and tore out my interior to run a new power wire and such, but i have to work today so its not gonna happen today. Plus i don't feel like blowing myself up swapping fuel pumps since I've never done one before.

Alright i got the new fuel pump installed without a problem.. but the car is only running on the leading coil right now and there is a pretty noticeable miss fire. We think its because the rear fuel injector isn't firing. Anyone else know anything about this issue??

she finally starts under her own power and stays running. (mind you were only running on the leading coil... new trailing coil is on the way thanks to a great forum member)

im idleing high as well because my tps needs to be adjusted, and we need a new spring for my BOV because the one isnt strong enough to stay closed under idle vaccum

which we get all that mess sorted out ill hopefully post a video of it hauling *** down the street

Till next time
