My 1988 Mazda Rx7 10th Anniversary Edition Restoration

I have loved mazda rx7s since I can remember, the first time I saw one I was hooked to the sight and sound of these rotary cars. I was able to get my first in 1999 and joined the club then. It was just a picture of a bunch of 10th anniversary edition rx7s on a San Francisco road. I had a FB then but always wanted a 10ae model after that. The site crashed and my account was lost and I never got around to signing back up until much later.

Years and many rx7s later I find myself ready to recapture my youth a bit by restoring a 10ae to enjoy as I used to. I thought this time I would make a build thread to document the project. My goals are simple:

I have a stripped down 10ae rx7 in Oregon Joe Maddox registered already on the registry. My goals are to restore it with as many new old stock parts as I can but running a few OEM+ parts. Pretty much only mazda representatives like racing beat, mazdatrix, RE Amemiya and Mazdaspeed.
