Kinda like the mantle piece I have in my living room.

Works as a good sunglasses holder too, haha.

Awesome car btw, I'll eventually build a rally car too. Most likely a TII FB, gotta finish my fc first tho, lol. I've drivin the fc on pikes peak and it's definitely lots of fun on the dirt.

Wow what an improvement. Luckily it's in the hands of a real owner now.

Thanks.

dash done:

yes it has USB ports for creature comforts, charge cell phone, use cell phone for pandora on drives to events (too poor to afford a tow vehicle getup so she has to stay road legal)

heatercore goes back in this week along with new defrost setup to get ready for rainy/ice/snow season here in MI.

I could take some but I just use the factory locations/hardware/etc for the window regulator

Lol yes it is/i am

and actually I do have an update! and some more action shots:

Via my friends at Griffin Thermal Products I got a sweet deal on this setup!

Spal electric fan, fully shrouded, all aluminum, mounted to stock location with very minor modifications.

(I kept the heater core for ice racing so I had to modify the lower outlet from 1.75" OD to 1.5" OD w/ a port for the heater core.)

Universal Combo CU-58202-01
Crossflow 24"w x 19"h overall
2 rows of 1.25"

works great with the vented hood.

Now as promised, action shots

whats next?

I have header wrap and I'm gonna do that to the header and midpipe because after 2 driver-ing the car at rallyX I got the floor soooo hot, it melted some of the factory sound deadening. lol.

so because of the conditions I drive in (snow, wet, mud etc) to do the wrap I must get an additional skid plate for the section from the cross member back (already have a front skid plate fashioned on there to protect the coolers) to make sure I dont soak the header wrap with moisture and rot my pipes.

Step 1
remove exhaust bits
step 2
sandblast the section
step 3
ceramic paint coat the section
step 4
wrap
step 5
rap
step 6
profit
