1988 Rx7 N/A. I just replaced my fuel pump after the car had been setting a while. It worked ok for a short time and now it makes a lot of noise like it is struggling to pass fuel. I did replace the filter at the same time I put the pump in. I drained the fuel before cranking it and before replacing the pump. I put in some B12 Chemtool to handle any water that may have accumulated. It will not start, tries to, bout won't start up and is making that "laboring" sound. Any Ideas?

 

the fuel sock on the pump get changed? and no, I do not mean clean, I mean changed.
