I just got off the phone with the shipper. The package arrived at the Chicago depot today. They said it should be in my hands tomorrow.

Meh, not really.

Its my dads cherokee. My brother wrecked it about a year ago. He was driving home one night going 30 mph in a 30 zone following behind 2 cars. On a somewhat windy road with alot of big expensive houses on it. A mosquito flew into the car and got in my brothers eyes under his glasses. He wiped it out of his eyes for a second and looked back to the road. The assfuck 2 cars up stopped to gawk at one of the houses and the porsche boxter behind that car stopped and my brother slammed into the rear of the porsche before he could do anything to avoid it and just annihilated the rear of it. The ******* that stopped and caused the accident... drove off.

The Jeep IMHO should have been totaled. The insurance company wouldn't total it. The body shop that repaired it did a terrible job. The passenger front door does not fit right it has like 2-3 mm of clearance with the rear passenger door and when you open the rear door it bends part of the rub strip out because it does not clear the front door. You can see that in the pics. If the rear passenger door is open you cannot open the front passenger door due to this. The hood does not line up right and the front is not straight.

The insurance company claims that the rub strip issue was pre-existing and would not repair it. But that is just an absolute crock of bullshit, theres no way that could be pre-existing if the passenger door had never been pushed back from an impact.. He called the Insurrance company and just blasted the shitass body shop. Not much else we could do though.

Anyway thats the story with that cherokee.. I only borrowed it today because I have no room in my Jeep due to my stereo system and the god damn rear doors just decided that they did not want to unlock or open anymore.. Theres some stuff in the back of the jeep in the pics, but you can't see em.

So, no one wants to know whats in the boxes???

I think that's just a panspeed sticker, but more importantly, I think RX-Heaven's Widebody kit just arrived.

I know man. I tried to get Shine Auto to make replicas of this hood. But the mass of stupid people wanted that hideous Sexy Style hood and thats what Shine decided to make, and thats the only FC hood Shine will make... I'm pretty sure that sexy style hood is much easier to come by in Japan than these now discontinued Pan Speed hoods. Pretty dumb replicating something thats still obtainable, I think... These hoods took me about a year to get them in my hands, and they are the very last of their kind.

So if anyone is to be hated its the tools that wanted the Sexy Style hood.

Everything is now in storage waiting for the last few parts that have been delayed a month. Then its off to the body shop. I have pics of my packed storage unit full of parts. Maybe I'll post those up later.

I actually bought 3 panspeed hoods. 2 FC hoods and 1 FD hood. The 2nd FC hood was for a local guy. He's on the forum and I'm sure you guys will see it on his car eventually too.

Juice,
I'm sorry to inform you of this, but due to the fact that you are building the same car as me, at least externally, I am going to have to demand you return my widebody kit. You do have another option though, you could send me one of those Panspeed hoods so I can have a spare in case mine gets damaged. I was the only one in the country that had one afaik. No longer I guess.

In any case, could you look at what it costs to ship that hood to 94116
