Yep, went to Florence Italy for 5 days, then 1 day and a half in Rome. Then spent 2 days in Zurich, Switzerland. Left on the 14th and got back on the 24th. Some foreign hotel Wifi systems really suck.
I stopped by the body shop this week but forgot my camera. Rollbar is in, gas tank was pulled and already came back from cleaning. Underside of the car has been cleaned. Next is the undercoating then on to the final stage. I was hoping things would have moved a little faster, as does the body shop owner. I'll probably drop by the body shop at the end of next week to see how things are going. Maybe we'll see some paint.

I can safely say he is "probably" not going to answer you and even if he does he is not "probably" going to tell you the whole truth, in fact custom body work costs around 70 an hour and I can tell you without a doubt this car once done will have over 100 hours in it EASILY, unless he knows or has a very good relationship with this body shop his bill is really one of those "your not supposed to ask" type things, just enjoy the work and the result!

I'm gonna try to stop by the shop today. I stopped by there on Monday cause some ****** broke into my jeep by shattering the passenger front window over the weekend and they got me a replacement glass asap. I didn't have my camera. However, I decided to have a few more tweaks made to the front bumper and lip after examining everything up close while it was up on a lift. So yeah, more delays. But the tweaks will make the front end look even better. I'll hopefully have an update on Sunday if not tonight.

They stole my radar detector. It was parked on a well lit main street in Chicago, right outside my friends apartment building. They didn't touch my stereo or anything in the back or the GPS that was 1 foot away from the detector.

There were no survivors
He basically has no right to talk because he probably buys performance parts made from other companies and takes pride in the fact he can remove two bolts, replace said piece, and re torque the bolts. Since he's apparently such a badass, he should be able to fab up EVERY engine, suspension, body, and interior piece for his car AND refine his OWN oil to run in his car. Gotta love condescending hypocrites with nothing intelligent to say.

Ok! So there were a few things that I think needed to be tweaked on the front end. First was the lip. As provided the lip extends from one side of the car to the other, but it stops right at the front of the wheel arch.
Like this:
So the lip is being slightly extended to the end of the wheel arch:
Second was the front airdam & extra cutout above. The lower airdam had some notches and imperfections around the sides where the stock grille was cut out from it. Those areas were filled in to smooth out the area. The extra cutout above the airdam is also getting reworked. It is being rounded off to have lines and curves more like the lower airdam. I've also had them add an inner lip of 1 inch to it. The cutout for the front tow hook has also been added in this pic.
Unfinished pic:
Undercoating is done!!!
Seats finally showed up after some messed up delays!!!!!!!!
Since the undercoating is done, once the work on the bumper and lip are completed we're on to the final steps!

Jesus hurry the *** up quit making them change **** its never going to be perfect and the first time you scratch it your gonna be that much more pissed oh and if you waste this car with black paint juice you suck dicks. Or better known as black is well known in sociology as the most insecure color you can paint a car, so dont.
Go pearl white or 99 blue or something hot, dont paint it "lack of color" lol.

Hey juice now you know that 500r will have to discontinued and get something like a gt47 for those wide wheels...lol
looking good bro about the scratching....ahh when you get that first scratch it will **** you off so bad that you dont want to even look at the car after the next ones you will get used to it
put it like this all the hard work is been done now so in the future if you need a quick touch up it will be painless
