Building and tuning my 88 t2 rx7
Ive got a black 1988 rx7 t2,
Iit has 120k miles on the chassis, 0 miles on new engine build, the engine has ALS apex seals, Turblown studs, all new bearings and seals, upgraded oil pressure regulators, upgraded bearings, hardened stationary gears, Large intake street port, Large exhaust porting, JNMR racing water seals, solid corner seals and fd3s springs, solid oil pellet, and much more things which are "secret" , the engine just got finished on the 18th of this month. Its all painted bright red and polished aluminum.
Ive got a full bolt on front mount intercooler 31"x24"x3" and 2.75" piping, I just mounted it yesterday and cut out the front bumper to accept the extra parts...
oh, and i still have the front bottom lip....i hate it when people cut that off.
Ive got a Neukin undivided equal length ramhorn style exhaust turbo manifold with a 44mm TIAL v-band.
GT35r knock-off by xs power (real turbo will replace this im getting a gt42r)
I bought the Haltech sport 1000 and the terminated harness for the s4/s5 (hopefully get time to install it tomarrow)
ACT SS EXTREME clutch and pressure plate, ultra-light chromoly ACT flywheel (had to for the studs....i wanted to use the stock heavy one for the strip oh well)
I have a aeromotive stealth 340 fuel pump and Im currently working on a twin pump surge tank setup. Oh that reminds me, i need to order my meth/water injection setup.
Ive got the racing beat dual exhaust (installed)
3"downpipe and testpipe
will be installing a 3" electronic cutout on the testpipe
The car is currently setting on a set of evo VIII enkei 6 spoke wheels, but i have a ultra clean set of stock wheels on almost brand new toyo tires.
Ill be posting pictures of everything soon!
