I am new to owning rotorys and I managed to get my hands on a 1987 t2 shell that had been sitting outside for 6 years. Then i went on to buy a whole fc drivetrain including na s4 motor, and a t2 trans.

My goal is to get the car running and driving plus looking decent before next spring comes around

So far all ive done was drop in the motor + trans and im waiting till i pick up some trans mount bolts so i can bolt that in.







I plan on posting my progress as i go on with the project in this thread. Next up i am going to have to hook up fuel lines and do wiring which i am not looking forward to as i have never messed to much with wiring in any car before.

 

Nice to see another FC coming back to life. This forum is a great resource with some pretty knowledgeable people so don't be shy asking questions. Also, if you don't already have a copy of the factory service manual (FSM) do yourself a favor and download it.
