90' FC S5 with ITB's build?

So I'm looking into doing an ITB build down the road. I slowly want to gather some info and eventually parts and do it all at once. So I've take a quote from DarrenTRS in the 1st Gen forums...

Currently I'm once again looking into fuel injection solutions for my S3 13B, swapping motors isn't something I feel is neccessary or really worth it considering I know my current motor is still healthy on the inside but slacking on the out so it's time to give it some proper TLC.

My point for the topic is a discussion, sharing of ideas and discoveries when it comes to IDA/IDF/DCOE/DHLA etc. type Fuel Injection Throttle Bodies, who makes them, how much the cost, what they come with, what they need, and things of that nature.

My questions:
1. Who still makes them? particularly in the US, I've found maybe 1 website of a US supplier but no direct online store so I'm not sure.
2. How many injector bosses do they have? Granted the stock GSL-SE got away with just two primary injectors I have thought about re-using those bosses again along with 2 on the TB for 4 injectors or simply using the 2 or possibly 4 on the manifold.
3. Will a GSL-SE or FC TPS work with them? Generic question.
4. Vertical, or Horizontal? IDA or DHLA.
5. What managment? This gets more into probably the 2nd gen section or even the management section but I figured I'd throw it in there, I've looked into something like the Haltech Sprint RE.

Aside from TWM, TweakIt and EFI Hardware I recently came across Jenvey Fuel Injection and Induction Systems across the pond in the UK, this is the package I've "built" w/o injectors and the price seems awesome:

http://www.jenvey.co.uk/http://www.tweakit.net/shop/index.phphttp://www.efihardware.com/index.phpAny thoughts? Suggestions? Directions to the psych ward?

Disclamer, I know there are other topics matter but are also years and years old and I'm hoping to keep this one more thorough and informative.
Anyways. I'm thinking about running the Jenevy build with possibly a MegaSquirt or maybe a Sprint RE. But before ECU comes the UIM discussion. I did some reading in that thread that I just quoted and went on Injection Perfection's website and they are saying to run the RB Side Draft Carb UIM

http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...nts/18101.html

Furthermore, I'm not sure how big injectors I will need since I'm probably only going to run only two for the simplicity.

Annnnd before all that can happen I need to know if this is even remotely possible on a 6Port with the actuators and vacuum rats nest bs.

^let me dream!

Anyways thanks for your input! It's greatly appreciated

and yes RotaryEvolution if you're reading, I can't make up my mind

I'm working on the same type of build. I'm going with; Borla's 50MM ITB kit (came with TPS), X4 ID1000CC injectors (you only need 2), RB IDA style manifold, Haltech PS1000, Horns/airbox unsure maybe from EFI Hardware in AUS, X4 AEM smart coils plus all the other small supporting mods.

I'm using an S5 6 port block with a Atkins streetport and I'm about to port the Exhaust using the EP2A from Pineapple Racing. Shooting for roughly 220 WHP. That's just a number, I through out there when I started and how close I get to that will be the basis for the next NA ITB build.

Unless you really like NA cars I would suggest the cheaper way of making power would be to get one of those JDM engines, rebuilding it right away, then swapping it. Personally I like the fact of building a High output NA, so there's my 2 cents LOL.

Hey sweet! I'm not completely insane haha
I previously owned a WRX and I got very tired of the turbo life, don't get me wrong...they're fun and fast buuuut. I couldn't stand the need for retuning and adjusting and it wasn't happy with anything I did to it. Plus a turbo is just one more part to break.

So N/A all day for me right now! Plus they just have more character!

Hope your build goes smooth, if so I'll probably be using it for inspiration!

Sounds like an interesting project. I'm actually moving in that direction with my FC as well. For me, it's more a matter of just getting something done, as opposed to watching it sit any longer. I already have most of the parts so I might as well use them, right?

Anyway, will be watching your progress.
