86 turbo2 rhd engine rebuild! help and advice wanted

I have a 86 rhd turbo2 fc I'm rebuilding and am wondering if the oil metering pump is essential or if it is integral tpo the oil pump also and help or insight would be helpful!
(I'm a noob when it comes to certain things on my dream car!)

I don't run an oil metering pump in any of my rx7s, with that being said, i have to premix my fuel now. So i guess it all depends if you plan on premixing your fuel or not.

well I'm going to be driving her from Alaska back to Indiana so I'm trying to rebuild her before that happens I just haven't been on that long of a road trip with her yet. as well what about titanium apex seals? I have several buddies who had them machined just don't know if its worth it.

I'm pretty sure that nobody is running titanium apex seals. Titanium is prone to cracking, and galls quite a bit when its constantly moving. So again, i highly doubt they had titanium apex seals made.

What are your realistic power goals for the car? That should dictate what kind of rebuild you do.

I want to get about 350hp to the rear wheels I have an s4 engine that only had 40,000 miles on it a stage three clutch, torrison lsd, tien suspension, but idk what all extras I have on the engine right now. but I want to relocate the intercooler beef up the alternator, install an electric water pump and fans as well as a new turbo and porting the exhaust to help reduce the carbon build up. also haveig custom gauges made for the dash.

350 whp is done pretty easily. A street port, bnr stage 3 or 4 turbo, or a gt35r sized turbo. Minimum of 720 and 1000 cc injectors, a standalone ecu, full 3 inch exhaust, a front mount or vmount intercooler and you're there. As far as apex seals go. I've had good luck with goopy, rotary aviation, rx parts, and factory apex seals. All making at least 350 whp

what kind of problems would I have to expect when driving her over 3000 miles on a road trip? also I'm looking into swapping out the hood for a carbon fiber one with vents is there any advantages over the stock hood with the hood scoop?
