I started off by replacing my Momo Mod 78 and Momo hub with Worksbell short hub and quick release and threw on an OEM Infini steering wheel that I scored on auction. I also ended up throwing a set of aluminum pedals out of an Infini model.
After about a year or so of driving the car with the Infini wheel I realized I preferred the feel of the smaller 350mm Mod 78 as opposed to the stock sized 370mm. I wanted something that looked OEMish to the car which landed me on two different wheels. The Momo Montecarlo which looks exactly like the Infini wheel or the Momo Prototipo. I decided to go with the Prototipo however when looking at them I realized there was a higher quality "Black Edition". I couldn't find one stateside, however they're readily carried by retailers out in Japan. I learned this right as I was about to head to Japan to visit some of my family so it coincided perfectly. While over there I went to A-Pit Autobacs and managed to get my hands on the wheel.
I may have also splurged on a few other goodies on that shopping trip since they had a "RX-7 Fair" at that Autobacs when I went.
Once I got the goods I went on to complete a side quest that I have been meaning to do for a long time
Once I got back over here installing the wheel was a lot easier with the quick release on now.
I also went ahead and got my hands on an OEM shift **** and quickly through that on. Waiting on a new boot but those are on back order from Mazda at the moment.
I managed to get my hands on a pristine tonneau cover and speaker covers that latch the cover.
I picked up a Blaupunkt Bremen for a more OEM looking radio that still retains modern functionality. I'm currently waiting on an acquaintance in Germany to make an OEM style surround for it.
Finally I got a certain set of seats out of a JDM FC that I'm currently in the process of getting reupholstered but that'll be another post for another day
