Subscribed. Pretty much a local here in Courtice. Where in pickering are you located? What are your plans for the car? Time Attack or track only?

I have a 1989 I was going to turn more into a track orientated car myself.

its going to be a street track car something i can still drive to the track i rebuilt the engine and i have a racing beat header with 2.5 straight pipe to dual mufflers but its a bit loud right now just trying to see what the best CAT for a rotary would be.

I am too because its so close i haven't seen my car in almost two months it's currently at the body shop getting a fresh coat of red and the shine auto lip kit.

ya i work at Teknotik im the auto technician there. Wheels are Volk TE37 17x9 +22 wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact DW 235/45/17 i also have Enkei RPF1's in black with hoosiers for the track wheels but it looks like those wont see the track this year.

pretty awesome build...I still cannot get past the "gloss gray" color...Looks like primer ahahah either way I like the color

how much you get the volks for?

Rims were not cheap they didn't have them in stock so they were made when i ordered them placed order April 4th recieved September 25th worth the wait tho rims are gonna look so perfect on my car!

Here are some pics of the engine rebuild. The engine was running for the summer and i never had any problems other then the car was getting a bit hotter then i thought it should be. Some of the coolant passage ways had corrosion in them and were clogged up. No major damage so i decided to do the pineapple large street port and clean all the parts and reassemble with all new gaskets. The car will be N/A for now well see where this takes me.

Holy you do clean work. Very impressed. Paint came out really nice too. I'm shocked how little rust it has for $700, especially being in Ontario.

I was looking for a project car but not a rust restoration project, Inside the car had zero rust underbody had been rust proofed since new it just had the usual rust on the rear quarters and a few small spots on the sunroof. Rust is being fixed right now and i also picked up a TII hood i cant wait for the paint to get finished!
Well your patience seems to have paid off. I wish I could say the same. Is this your first 7?

No i used to have an '81 that i bought not running fixed it up and drove it for 2 years and then sold it. After that I eventually missed it and wanted an FC.

That is pretty clean. And I actually just saw an Audi that had the same paint you used on the engine bay (same color is what I mean).

Still looks like primer with clear, but very clean..👍👍
