Subscribed. Pretty much a local here in Courtice. Where in pickering are you located? What are your plans for the car? Time Attack or track only?

I have a 1989 I was going to turn more into a track orientated car myself.

Here are some pics of the engine rebuild. The engine was running for the summer and i never had any problems other then the car was getting a bit hotter then i thought it should be. Some of the coolant passage ways had corrosion in them and were clogged up. No major damage so i decided to do the pineapple large street port and clean all the parts and reassemble with all new gaskets. The car will be N/A for now well see where this takes me.

Holy you do clean work. Very impressed. Paint came out really nice too. I'm shocked how little rust it has for $700, especially being in Ontario.

Ya i really got lucky it wasnt the first FC i went to look at thats for sure! I was looking for a project car but not a rust restoration project, Inside the car had zero rust underbody had been rust proofed since new it just had the usual rust on the rear quarters and a few small spots on the sunroof. Rust is being fixed right now and i also picked up a TII hood i cant wait for the paint to get finished!

That is pretty clean. And I actually just saw an Audi that had the same paint you used on the engine bay (same color is what I mean).

Still looks like primer with clear, but very clean..👍👍
