nice choice. i've seen a few of these cars turned to rotary, but so far yours is the first turbocharged one, you're making good progress and i admire your work.

So ill have more pictures up today of the exhaust I finished fabbing it up... i still need to weld in an o2 sensor bung whenever i get it in the mail, make what im just gonna call a "bulk head" which will be where the exhaust goes through the firewall and the body, and lastly ill have to make somesort of sheet metal cover over the exhaust because it does pass through the passenger compartment.

This is a helmhotz resonance chamber hopefully it will cancel out some of the open exhaust raspiness.

really cool build :)
where i live it would probably be a rx7 with a bmw engine.

danmo349 02-26-14 03:07 PM

^^^ haha man where's that Germany

psyaddict 02-26-14 03:30 PM

Estonia.... :D its like maybe 10 rx-7 in here (all gens. Together) and i know all the guys who have a rx7 in working order lol.
Most of these cars are wrecks with a bmw straight 4 or a ford scorpio v6 under the hood yuck
btw in here bmw is a cheap and powerful enough rwd car that young men can buy, usually when someone crashes a car and rolls it over the roof and it burns down on a field then its probably a bmw :D

So I'm ready to start wiring in the ms3 pro but decided to finish up some odds and ends that have been on my mind.

Finished welding in the cage bars then painted the cage and the interior.

Along with painting the interior I had some smoothing work to do on the trans tunnel

Attachment 645382

I also had some extra sheets of aluminum laying around and didn't like the bare look of the doors so I made some overs for them can't decide if I wanna leave the industrial aluminum look or paint them black.

Attachment 645383

Next I started some stuff for the ecu like the bracket for the ecu and fuse block and relays (grommets are in now just not in this picture I have)

Attachment 645384

Also I welded in the air intake temp sensor well I welded the bung then spun in the sensor.

Attachment 645385

Now I basically have to start wiring everything in although I still need to get my hands in some coils but I'll wire them in last so I have some time.
