I loved the noise. My problem was it leaking from around the seal under the mount

Are you familiar with the Met Council? That is who I race with. There aren't very many Rx7s so I would love some competition! I usually pretty much own CSP and not because I am that fast, because I am the only one that ever races in that class! Kinda sucks....so come on out. Mnautox.com

Quick update:

Got a lot done since my last post! First of all, I have the good summer wheels and tires on finally. Unfortunately upon remounting, one of the inner beads tore and a nice Minnesota pot hole took care of the rest, causing a bubble in the sidewall. Oh well, its an excuse to upgrade to 205s!

And I spent the entire weekend doing the biggest mods for the year, swapping the 4.78 Kia GSLSE hybrid rear end and the S4 N/A FC transmission.

Swapping out the tail shafts/speedo gears. Gotta love the 4.78 rear gears and keeping a 3200rpm tach at 60mph.

Stupid open nonsense, never again!

Sitting pretty after a long weekend of work!

And today I got my new Star Specs!

They'll be mounted Wednesday

I just realized how long it has been since I've updated this. I'll get it up to date later on today.

Well over this season I mostly just drove the car. A lot. A few upgrades have been done but not much. The spoiler made its way on the car of course after some fresh paint. I finally got my full exhaust fabbed up as well. Full 2.5" stainless with the twin magnaflow mufflers. Still loud as nuts but its got a really nice tone. I also installed an MSD 6AL and 2-step module for fun. The flames are very entertaining. Not as entertaining as watching peoples faces when they see my empty dizzy. I still need to clean up my engine bay though, and move my battery one of these days.

Here are some pics from this season of fun. I love this car.

Good part is I just bought a 2003 Ford Ranger for the winter. Which means, sad but true, I can park the 7 for quite a while to tackle big projects. Body work, paint job, turbo goodies, the works.

Woah, never checked back in... "turbo goodies"???

Hope your winter is going well so far. I picked up a Mustang in August so I didn't have to drive the 7 this year either and will be getting some work done on her in the next 4 months to hopefully have it running on the road by May.
