Haven't had much funds to be working the Bridge lately, but I decided I wanted to do something different with my muffler. It's hard keeping the bumper clean with the straight tip. I have always liked the Aussie style dumpy mufflers, but I didn't want to just buy another muffler just for the looks. So I did a little "make my own" dumpy. There is actually more curve in it than the pics show. I just haven't decided whether to leave it the length it is, or shorten it up a little. So what ya'll think.

Done a little trading lately, and scored a brand new set of drilled and slotted rotors with new pads. With more horsepower, it's nice to have more braking power Anyway, some pics for your enjoyment.

Got the rear done last night. I had to order some bearings and dust seals for the front rotors. Those came in today. I should have the front finished by tonight.

Mmmmm. Sexy...........

Thank you sir. I have owned this car for over 6 years and I have taken alot of time a patience to get her where she is now. I have wanted a good driver above all else. That is the main reason I decided to go fuel injected. Whenever it decides to quit raining, I hope to get the girl out and test the new brakes

I traded for these parts. I really don't know what they cost. I have been looking at some on E-bay to kinda get an idea. I'm thinking this is the same kit.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAZDA...Q5fAccessories

Looks like the same brake pads also. For $200 bucks, this isn't that much more than replacing everything with stock parts.

I haven't updated this thread in a while. I don't have the funds right now to finish my bridgeport. I did take the old girl to a local dyno day over the weekend. She didn't do too bad. About what I expected for 8psi. Any who. On with the vid!

The first car is a my friend Tim's mint SA. The second one is mine. The third is one that I ported and help install the turbo plus tuning. That '85 GS is a nasty beast

I finally broke down and upped my secondary injectors. I found out the 680 GSL-SE injectors have the same low impedence as the S4s. I also have the pleasure of running a buddies R-Tek ECU untill he gets his engine finished. All that I can say is HOLY CRAP. I didn't realize how differance the ECU could make. The car is a hell of alot quicker out of the hole, and pulls like a stuck pig. I hope that I can get her back on the dyno soon and see the real numbers differance.

Since I added the 680s and the R-Tek, I wanted to play with a top mount intercooler to see if I could get a little more of my bottom end back. Since I'm running the T04E, I lost a little out of the hole. I know you guys think I'm crazy, but the car is pulling way harder now from 2500 rpms all the way to whatever. The only suckie part to running the top mount is having to cut a hood to make it really functional. The plus side is now I have all this room beside the radiator. Great place to put the MAF, and now the BOV is WAY louder. Anyway, a couple pics. I plan on painting the hood semi-gloss black. The car is running so much smoother and harder now, the top mount is staying.

I just need to get my air filter back on it.

I have access to a '04 WRX hood. I plan on using a Subi scoop

I haven't seen a Subi scoop on a first gen before. Just thought I would try something different. I should have the Subi hood later this week. I'll let ya know how it goes.
