i wish i could still get those flares. i sent them an email a couple months ago and they told me they are no longer available due to low volume and starting to run into quality problems with there manufacturer.

Any idea if there's anybody else that has those flares for sale?

Awesome project man, its got me drooling all over my laptop

What's the difference between the MFR rotor housings and other engine components over the stock parts that were on the cars sold to the public? Are they more light weight or are they different by the size of some of the openings?

Also if you don't mind can you post pictures? ^_^

Well, Mazda made the Rx7 with a race program to promote the new car. The MFR parts were made lighter, robust and suited to race conditions. Basically, the only parts used from the standard road car, would be the steering arms.

Anyhow, here a pic between twin dizzy, standard and MFR housings.

The cars now flow coated.......

Now the only things left is to buff and paint the window frame of the doors black. Them the fun begins, tow her home and start putting it together.

Cool idea and great execution. Nice to see you're going all out, getting all the mechanical parts together as well as the look.

Well not a lot to report, started to put a few item on. Still waiting on some NOS parts from Mazda...

Trying to use as much new parts as possible.

New Tail lights lens and gaskets

New vents, connectors and screws.

Taillights in, but just still waiting on the new washers, that fit around the lens screws. Oh also a new weather seal for the rear hatch.

New brake booster and clutch master, aswell a new bonnet latch.

such a sexy beast! are you going to attempt to do the original style seat? i've been lucky to be able to actually SEE the real car in person 1-2 times a year for the past decade, and its got some sparco or something in it now, but it originally had a modified stock seat

Here's a pic of the race seat. This was the closed fabric I could find, close to the factory cloth.
