Well, what color are you going to paint it? Somehow the original rally paint-scheme seems the way to go ;)

The color is secret so far, but its not the old original color i am going to use.

I love this cars, the Old grpB rx7 that i am a mechanic on, i love it

i will come back with a price later when i have made for my own car, need to find out the total costs of it first, and also how much time i use on it.

Its a big job with CF sice it requires heat and vacuum to get out the air from the CF and to get the epoxy to harden correct.

Is he driving a Rx7? where in norway does he live? there are only 2 original grpB rx7'ns in norway, i know who both of them are, one is a orange and silver colored, witch i am a mechanic for, and the other one is blue and silver, just bought from sweden.

Kim 10-27-07 11:24 AM

Go Fish :D
The deal goes throuh another guy who builds racecars in his sparetime, can't really tell what he drives.
Ohh well, let's hope someone buys it, will be a good downpayment on a house.

rotary emotions 10-27-07 03:27 PM

did you take the molds with the fenders on the car? I'm considering taking molds of mine too, and was wondering how hard it was...

yes, i did. Its not hard to do on the car, but it is very important to use the correct amount of was and gelcoat to make the molds to get of the fenders when it is finished.. a lots of hours to do it, but take your time and it will be a good result

Nice ... Thats the longest shifter that I've seen, closest one to that that I've seen was the one off Aaron Cake's car. He broke it off though lol. He wanted it even taller, probably just as tall as this to get the shifter right besde the steering wheel.

dantheman 10-29-07 03:50 PM

VERY nice stuff! That is the AWD car from Mazda right?

Your build is looking very nice as well. That is the best widebody kit that I have ever seen as well.

The GrpB is RWD

20bdreams 10-29-07 05:59 PM

since you used a FC subframe did you HAVE to move the engine back onto the fire wall, or is that something you chose to do.

i was suposed to do it, beacuse i wanted to get more weight to the back, but desided not to move the engine, it fitted good like it is now, wit only one rotor of the engine is in the front of the front wheels, rest of the engine is back of it. And the tranny also fitted well with the engine like this, the gearshifter fitted perfectly in the same hole as the original gearshifter is fitted.

rotarycrazy 10-29-07 09:59 PM

If you have a chance a picture or two would be cool, more out of curiousity than anything. Just wanted to see how you went about supporting the steering column at the bottom.
