My new fb!!
Hi, I'm the proud new owner of a beautiful 1982 GX(Canadian spec GSL-SE) My dream car at last!!! Well I suppose I've had it since late last summer but I just discovered this forum. It's in really nice shape, all original with about 113000km. I've never owned a rotary before however I'm very mechanically inclined and I did my research before buying so I know the basics like always check oil, never shut off cold etc.
I do have a few questions now that weather is warm and I'm driving her again, btw I just did an oil change(of course) Castrol 20W50, plugs, wires, fuel filter and wiper blades.
1. I've put about 1000 km on her so far and have not noticed any loss of oil, should I be worried?
2. I have a very light, quiet pinging/popping noise under load while accelerating above 2500rpm seems like its coming from the exhaust?
3. Where do I find window seals(the ones that run along bottom of window on the outside) mine are dried up and cracked and I'm worried about water getting to the bottom of the doors and causing rust)?
Thank you everyone, I'm excited for some replys!

Yes it's exactly the same as a gsl-se offered in the US market except it was offered here as the gx. It's got the removable roof, LSD, rear disks, front mounted oil cooler and the 12a, leather and power everything. Thanks for the tip I will try Mazdatrix to order those window seals!
