ok so the whole unibody is in primer now and we have started on the hood

 

so we found three more dents on the unibody and fixed those. I finally got the last strut and installed the front end, but that is about it. Our goal is to try to get everything else (Doors and fenders) ready for paint. it really depends on how mah pops is feeling when he gets home, lately we have all been tired.

 

Sorry for leavin yall in the dark, uhh we prepped the doors, the hood is basically done with prepping but it might get another layer of primer, as with the doors, and we painted all the trim. if we spray primer on the doors tonight I shall post the pics then.

 

So we finished all the prep work, and as a last minute chang-up we decided white was a better color. Yesterday we painted the whole back end (unibody), and here are the pics. We were going to do it in a paint shop but we got **** on by management lol, however so far its comin it pretty damn good, except for a few runs which will be removed when we wet sand the body.

So over the course of the last two days (4ish hours really) we have mounted almost everything, and it looks great imo. oh yea we also painted the bottom of the hood and the doors jams. if all goes well we will paint the rest of the car tomorow (excluding the light covers, mirrors, and bumpers--- that should be Thursday if not Friday).

 

are you planning to paint the engine bay?

 

Yessir we are going to paint the enginebay. I'm thinking black right meow but we will probably go white

 

so we wet sanded er last night and buffed her this morning , and i posted a pic of our amazing paint station lol that is a win.

 

So apparently I never updated this, my bad guys... well we Just painted the rims this last week. and I finally got a chance to clean her after about a month of rain

 

car looks great! however the rims........... not so much

 

Pictures don't do the rims justice lol... Think of them as my.... winter rims, I am highly considering some rims from Diamond Racing, any suggestions?

 

If u like the diamond racing ones, take a look at Bassetts. I have the Inertia model on the widebody but they also make a "d-hole" version that looks like the diamonds but I find them nicer.
