I picked up a wood Grant GT steering wheel from a co-worker.

My trouble is 'Grant Products' doesn't list an install kit for the 1st gen RX7.
They show RX2/3 - then 86+. Didn't find much help in a search

I picked up the RX2/3 kit, but before I tear into it I like to know I have the right kit.

Any install tips would also be helpful.

3597 is the Grant installation kit for my 83 anyway.

Thankfully that's the one I bought.

 

Use the same hub as the second gen rx-7.

Conflicting information.

 

i think i used a second gen hub when i did it on my car years ago. I still have it just need a new wheel for the racecar.

 

What does that part number pull up?

 

3597 is the part number for my 83 gsl according to Grant's site, same part for 74 rx4.
Checked against an 87 Rx7 & it was different.

So I think I'm good just got to get it done.
