Picked up this gem, I had one before and sold it to a friend back when I sold the car.
Was glad to find one in great condition, just need to touch up the hardware with some fresh paint.

Well there goes another year that I didn't take the SE to deals gap
Next year is the year she goes!!!!!

But I do have some more goodies coming soon, so I'm at least happy about that.
Just need a couple more parts and she'll be getting put back together.

Very nice work estevan! Cars going to be a rocket when done! I've been meaning to do a FD intake/throttle body swap on my car. Just looks better than the FC intake setup.

Thanks bro, I'm hoping she'll be in the 450rwhp range when done.

Yeah the FD UIM looks way better than the FC's. Do it.

And your FB looks awesome, you've done a great job with it!!

I been working in the garage but its been time spent on the RX-8.
I decided to upgrage the 8's turbo to a EFR 8374 iwg and do some other things.

I have about 80% of what I need to finish up the SE so once the 8 is done I'll be jumping back on the SE

The EFR 8374 turbo upgrade on the RX-8 is wrapping up.
Just gotta finish a couple of lose ends but she's pretty much done.
Waiting till I break in the engine then I'll get it retuned.
I can already see that I'm going to love this EFR, this thing is so responsive

Now that the 8's completed ill be getting back to the turbo SE

Man your doing work. Your overdue for a hangout because of this and when you do, don't leave me behind.

When we go to deals gap, I'm gonna be behind and in the back because last year we hit so much gravel on the roads, it dimpled and chipped my old bumper like a proactiv spokesperson. It was bad and I don't want my newly painted face to be the new proactiv representative.

Blue painters tape is your friend... might look a little tacky but it'll save your paint from most of the road peppering it's going receive.
I'd give it a try if I had a nice fresh pretty paint like yours

Nothing really new to post, I've got the 8 back together and ready for Deals Gap.
So that's been taking up all my free time.
I hope to get back on SE when I get back from DGRR.

Old pic my friend posted from early 2009... man I miss driving her.

DGRR was great but now it's time for the first gen.

Feels good to finally have some time dedicated to the SE.
I got the irons and housings out and started cleaning them up for painting.

Waiting on a couple of things but ill be closing the engine real soon

Thx for the kind words.

Sorry to see you move on, man i really liked your FB and where you were going with it.

I like the polished look on my 8 because it seem like everyone was doing the black rims on white car and i wanted to be a little different.
You could get polished rims and dip them black for a temporary look.

Respeed R&P kit After sitting on the shelf for over a year she's going in.
Using this because don't feel like buying new rims and ect.... I know there are ways around that but don't feeling like going in that direction.

Bro I've been on the fence to sell it or not cause I couldn't decide on this or the FC subframe swap w/custom FD mount
I finally said "F" it and decided to install the Respeed R&P and use the SE front cover on the REW.
Just wanna drive my car again!!
