After I sand down the piece smooth.
I then use my HF 6" buffer w/the HF White Polish Compound for aluminum.
I think it comes out pretty good for a weekend warrior.
Next time im at HF ill check out the "green rock" polish; or try to see what its called.
Glad to see your going to fix your turbo FB!!
Steve.

Well I changed my mind about wire tucking the harness. It really comes down to that I don't wanna pull off the fender.
So I'm just gonna remove what I don't need, rewrap and clean it up best I can.
Then rerun it in the stock location.

This wire tuck people talk about is a pain, lol I just extended my wires about 4' so they wont be all over engine bay then I ran from Passenger side to inside then loop to drive side and rerouted them by brake booster then down by original big harness ill post pictures , I been doing this for a dam week and finally last night i think I finished lol well 2 more little cable then ext another 2 cable and done. its looking real good.
I'm currently thinking the same thing, especially after going through the hassle of putting back the stock main harness on my motor that's on the engine stand.

I really just wanna drive the car again and hope to have it ready for Deals Gap in April.
So I decided to just clean up the harness and put it back

Man, you have all three generations... that's awesome.
I stopped at two(rotaries) or I should say the wife stopped me at two.
FB's are great, I love the simplicity of then, and so much room in the engine bay.
Also a turbo FB is a fun car! Completely different than a FD.
Can't wait to have mine back together.

Yeah, I guess you can call it luck. I wish I would of never sold it in the first place. Man, you have all three generations... that's awesome. I agree with simplicity. Also, Ive owned all 3 generations, even had a t2 and a vert. I felt like the fb was more alive then the rest. It feels like a real drivers car. Which is why throughout the craziness of the past few years, with the passing of my brother, and deciding what the hell im to do with 5 rx7s at once, im back to solely building the FB.

Only thing I've done was clean up the stock harness and left it in its stock location.
I'm loving your build keep up the awesome work!! It keeps me motivated to get mine done
