Epic red turbo 12a build

Hello, this is my car there arent many like it because I'm making this one mine. I have big plans for her. Right now I've been working on body any paint for the past 3 years (basically since I first bought it) but I'm trying to grind it out. Its currently full bridge Mostly the center iron still isn't ported, the plan is once its all restored to slap i nice turbo on it and convert to FI using either a LINK or Halltech, and of course the rest of the mods will be somewhat inspired by japanese 90s tuners using as many japanese parts as I can get.

As you can kind of see ive completely stripped it down, and started from scratch nothing is left untouched. Ive raptor lined the underbody, and used heat and sound insulation on the interior. Im running ground controll front coilovers and going to buy eicbach springs for the back.

I also plan on putting a GSLSE rear axle, and then tricking the whole car out with t3 brakes, steering rack, roll center adjusters, maybe just the whole catalog. And of course the most important part, its going to be painted red. now all of this takes time and is smash my head against the wall every night for not just buying a car that had nice paint, but this is my forever car and I can't break the addiction.

Looks like a good project.

I know how tedious it is to strip this car as I just went through it myself. How did you remove the front and quarter windows without breaking them?

I just used a window remover tool from harbor freight its a braided cable with two handles you stick the cable under the glue and saw arround the whole windshield

It's come a long way from when you first got it, and it looks 100x better!
Any idea why it had so much filler on the roof, b-pillars, and qtr panel?

The Roof and b pillars were all smashed up and badly metal worked, the qtr panel just has a minor dent and they completely smothered the whole thing for some reason maybe they were tired of sanding

Yea definitely, unfortunately I don't know who did it but that won't be a problem for me since I do all of it myself.

Why not blow through a carb?

Did you hammer that left B pillar, or did you weld in from a donor car? Good job either way.

Looks like you're in the same place as me in my project. I just finished covering up my interior for the final bits of exterior paint & body work.

i want to safety and control of a standalone, and ive been debating a 13b if for some reason the 12a doesnt have enough hp

I made my own patch, but i wish i would have taken it from my other car. At least its still in one piece if I ever turn it into something.

So you put the suspension bits on for a car show this weekend that you are going to? Is the car painted and all glass installed? Or are you driving there just as the car looks above?

Not gonna lie I did the same thing. I took my car to DGRR this year, even though she wasn't "perfect".
