Yeah, the SA's are pretty basic. No rear speakers (despite the grilles - you can see where they should go in the sheet-metal, but there's no actual hole,) no rear wiper/washer. All that's going to the back is fuel pump, tail/brake, turn, license, and reverse lights, and the rear defroster, if equipped. Oh, power antenna if equipped - looks like yours has both, judging by the switch on the radio surround.
Yours appears to be a GS - four-spoke steering wheel, 5-speed, console with armrest, power antenna, rear window defroster, aluminum wheels - but as far as I can tell, no sunroof. Interesting.

Austin, I may have to take ya up on that stuff. Gonna go to next months meet? If so, bring em with ya and I'll bring the nikki and we'll swap em. As for the dash, don't wanna use anything than OEM as this is gonna be a stock for stock rest, CF would be neat but not for this one.
Keeble, haha sorry man. I jumped on this as fast as I could, lol. He said somebody in CO was gonna come get it if it were still available in the spring, musts been a lot of interest in her.
kev, pretty much. Sombody did cut the rears to fit 6x9s in and later replaced them with what look like stock speakers. The fronts were originals, still have the plastic over them and the lil snap connectors. As was previously mentioned, I'll have to dig up a replacement sub harness for the stereo and idk what I'll have to do with the main dash harness. There aren't any pics but it had a cruise control unit wired into it and, like the stereo, it was a hack-n-slash job. Hopefully it's all repairable.

Weekend Update. ( No Tina Fey unfortuately)
Well the car has no interior left in it now, everything either getting re-upholstered or repaired. The inside of the car has been halfway cleaned up with simple green and where its been done is a night and day difference, car doesn't smell so much like stale coffee and dirt anymore. The carpets have been pressure washed and dried, looking pretty good so they'll be re used except for the hatch carpet. Looks mangy and is faded pretty badly.
Started work on the rest of th dash harness and it actually wasn't as badly mangled as it appeared. The aftermarket cruise control unit was installed about as professionally as the stereo, duct taped wires and all.
Before:

After:

Center section of carpet after a good cleaning and vacuum:

Got the rest of the plastics outta the car too, they're all getting wet sanded and polished. Only got a couple pieces done so far.

Got the door panels off, didn't do anything with them yet. Gonna have a local upholstery shop look at 'em and tell me what they can do.

And that's it, running outta things to do with the interior. I forgot about that dash Stu posted up till a couple hours ago and missed out on it.
Hopefully another will pop up eventually. Next weekend I think I'll start in the engine bay, gotta get a FSM first though. Just about every plastic connector is ruined too, most of them fall apart as soon as they're touched. If someone could post up that link to the site that sells the factory style connectors I'd appreciate it, I can't think of the name for the life of me.

Keep at it sir, you're winning.
Be thinking about doing that clutch master while you've got the interior stuff tore up; that accumulation of surface rust on it is a usually a pretty sure sign it's bled out some fluid from the inner seal. Brake/clutch fluid attracts water like that.

Seriously though, aside from the IMSA SA yours was prolly my favorite SA/FB there. Holy super clean engine bay Batman!!

You're prolly right, everything in the engine bay is pretty much shot. Anything that was plastic falls apart when you touch it, the lil connectors, plastic reseviors, etc.. There's a stripe down the peddle assembly from the MC down, seems odd that it would run to that spot though.
I'll have to check out WHiV, saw the link if your sig but haven't looked yet.

Not much accomplished this weekend, only had a couple hours Sunday to fool with it. That being said, the interior has been completely stripped aside from the dash and headliner. There was so much dust under those lil panels that cover where the storage bins would be, I think it's still stuck in my teeth.
Got all that vacuumed up then scrubbed the whole thing down and rinsed with simple green, now it's ready to go back together. Next step for the interior is upholstry, maybe next weekend I'll get a start on that. Need to get it up on the lift and see what's going on down there too, I dunno, I really need to make a list of things to do at this point.

Yeah check out WHiV it's basically a three day event with something for everyone

At the rate you are going I wouldn't be surpised that you get this project going relatively quick
About to start sourcing parts. Just finished my thesis this weekend and then I'm jumping into my own build. Missed the DFW meet on Saturday b/c of it, but I'll be working on the 7 for the next few months.
You having any luck finding the parts you need for the car? With such a small production window I'm guessing you may need to improvise here and there. Look forward to seeing your update pics!

The cold's gonna slow me down a lot when it gets here, I'm a skinny lil guy with zero insulation. Give me 100+ anyday,

Not really but then again I haven't been looking all that hard yet either. :/
IDK, guess it's worth a shot. Worse they can say is 'no'.
