Im wondering if your S5 seats didnt have the tilt function on the driver seat like this one does ( maybe these are S4 seats ) . My S5 vert drivers seat doesnt have the Tilting bar ( lever on side of seat) , and as you can see in the picture , the top bolt on the tilt bar is too far forward to mount in the rail hole . The tilt bar raises the front of the seat up and down about an inch or two , and pivots on the back with a hinged bracket . The passenger seat was all solid and the rail was a straight bolt up no problem

Guess I learned something today. I never realized FC's had that tilt feature. My seats are S5 GTU (base model basically) and only slide forward and back and the back tilts, but not the base of the seat. I mistook the "tilt" feature you mentioned to mean the tilting of the back of the seat... It's possible yours are from a GXL maybe....

Your build is comming together quite nicely. I'm thinking that chrome door handles might tie in well with the bumpers.

Thanks Banzai , yea I have those handles for it and they are likely the last chrome going on other than all the brand new badges from mazda. I got them from australia new as well . I think it was Phils Rotary as few years ago . pic of one of them below . The pic also shows the vinyl Rotor center cap covers I found from a guy in greece that stick perfectly on the Konig rim caps that came with the 15" Rewinds

I looked up the 2nd generation specs thread and for both the S4 and S5 the GXL was the only model with the tilt for adjustable height and lumbar adjust **** on drivers seat. GXL also has adjustable head rests. I didn't realize that when I picked them up used from a local kijiji ad
