I dont' exactly understand what to do and how this works, so I am typing something to see what happens....I have a 1985 GS that I lost power to the fuel pump. We have power to the B/W wire to the relay, but past the firewall we have no power. A friend of mine who useed to work for a Massey Ferguson tractor dealership, traced the problem to going up under the dash. So the repair manual shows the FUEL CUT RELAY, up under the dash, but it's just a line drawing type thing. Question: do I have to take out the whole dash to get to this relay, or can I take the face off the tach area and get to it. I just don't want to tear up everything if I don't have to. This could be fun; Thanks to whoever knows what to do. Bill.
