Yet another red FD project

Figured I finally have some time to document the process and keep everything place, so here goes. These things never seem to be finalized but hopefully the bulk of it is nearing completion. The short version is I bought a project from family, tried to restore slowly, had a baby, bought a business, time became scarce, having IR Performance complete the majority of the project. Like most projects that sat for a while, has not been without its surprises. I've been eagerly awaiting a drive since it's been almost 2 decades prior I drove a well sorted 3rd gen. Last time we talked, sounded like first start was soon. Can't wait! Especially after seeing all the great cars they've put together.

Mid 2016 - I had been pestering a family member to buy his base 1993 vintage red for years. He had the car for a decade and a half, with plans to restore but never got around to it. In my memory, the paint was vintage red, but when I saw the cars after years, seems more like a matte vintage red. The only mechanical issues he recalled were no brake pressure and it would not start. Great, I figured I'd fly down, bleed the brakes, slap in a fuel pump and drive it home. He recommended trailering it back, which you'll see why that was good advice later.
