We are all gluttons for punishment. Your swap turned out great. The engine bay is super clean. There aren't a lot of swaps out there that are that clean and done right in the engine bay. Looking forward to seeing it once it's out of the body shop. I laughed so hard reading through this with all of your commentary and pictures.

So, it's been a good summer. Busy as hell so I haven't been able to post many updates (there were many recently) so I figured I would do it all in one go. I finally got my v8 back. The car looks great.

The car finally feels like it's back home.

I'm not going to go crazy with it like my other car. I'm done with replicas. All that's left is a check up of electrical stuff, new short shifter at speed1. Some work at IRP. New tires (dear GOD the ones on there are terrible) and to put back the interior of the car. Ahh and a final tune. Exterior work will be done over time finally. It feels good to finally be at the final stretch after all of the crap.

Another white LSx FD in NJ. Maybe not such a rare car now?
Hey, I appreciate you having a sense of humor about everything. I wish it was so easy to take so much "bad" in stride like that!
So I commend you for that!
Way to hang in there. Car is looking good.
I can get you some new black "Recaro" seat covers.
They look factory. Let me know.

Haven't visited the forums in a while but got the car back from s1 over the weekend and the car has been running great. New short shifter installed (shifts great now), new tune and various electrical fixes from some old work, new head unit, new tires. The car is essentially done after a front lip install and maybe a more aggresive tune. Whew. New pics to come once I find the time.
