Update Jan 25th

Things have been kind of quiet on here and mainly because I've been extremely busy at work and I finally placed the order on my side skirts last week. But...some things have popped up which in turn is forcing me to change gears on this build. So with that said I will be placing my Panspeed kit up for sale when my side skirts arrive. Hopefully there will be someone out there that would be interested in it.

Update Thursday, 2/11/2016

Just thought I'd update this thread since my special little plan didn't go as expected. I didn't want to say anything right away but I was trying to sell my current Panspeed kit in order to pay for and place an order for the new Panspeed widebody.

Unfortunately nobody has shown any serious interest in purchasing my current setup but I'm totally ok with that since I have no problem keeping it! Anyways, I've placed a few orders on more parts and Im just waiting for them to come in. Ill be posting more photos as they come in. In the mean time check out my Panspeed side skirts that just came in today! As bad as the Google reviews are on DHL Shipping, I was surprised that they delivered the box way ahead of schedule (originally scheduled for Monday delivery). Another big surprise was that they didn't ask for some sort of payment lol, and the box showed up in one piece! Aside from DHL, I was pleased with the packing on the side skirts that came directly from Panspeed.

Last item to complete the Panspeed kit is the hood, which is already on order!

nice build dude....keep going. Pan speed kitted FD's are rare so you'll def stand out from the usual re amemiya or feed kitted fd's. I was also thinking of going Panspeed but cant afford it tbh soooo well jel haha. keep it up...cant wait to see it all on your fd. Those side skirts have a huge floor under them...are the jacking points still accessible?

Thanks! I use to want the full RE widebody for the longest time because not everyone had one. I love the way it looks and how it enhances the body lines of the car. But the Panspeed look started growing on me.

As for the side skirts I was surprised that they weren't just "sides". I honestly didn't know that they looked like this and provided some sort of aerodynamics to the underside of the car. The only pictures I've ever seen of these side skirts is with them mounted on cars. As far as the jacking points, Panspeed had me covered lol.

LOL! The V8 in the background is a small project that my buddy is doing, but it's definitely not replacing any of the rotaries in his cars lol.

Yea they're pretty nice. I can't speak for other Japanese brands but I can say that all the parts I've received from Panspeed so far are VERY durable. Even though it's FRP, the construction of these pieces is super stiff. Way more durable than Shine Auto parts, which to me have a very flimsy feel. If you ever decide to buy any Panspeed parts I have no doubt you'll be very satisfied with their products. The one piece that I'm looking forward to seeing when it arrives is the Panspeed hood.

Update Wednesday, 17 February 2016

Today was an awesome exciting day since I received the last piece to my Panspeed body kit, the GT2010 hood. This thing is absolutely gorgeous and the quality of it is on point.

Unfortunately I came across some minor damage to the hood as I was unboxing it. I'm assuming it happened during shipping but I don't think it will be hard to repair.

Yikes, that's not cool about the damage to the hood.

Otherwise, your FD is coming along AWESOME

Very impressive. Dig the steering wheel and shift ****. Any plans for a nice leather/suede shift and E-brake boot as well?

Thanks!

It's funny you mention the shift and e-brake boots as I was shopping for new OEM leather replacement boots earlier today. I'm about to order the RE Amemiya shift **** and short shifter because even though I like the look of the Carbing shift **** I don't like how it feels with the FD's tranny since it's made from that delrin material.

Be careful with the RE-A short shifter. I had one for about two days before removing and selling it.

I like a lot of their products, but the 'short' shifter is just an oem throw shifter that sits the **** itself a bit lower. That's it. Not worth the money at all IMO.

Austin and Alex Edwards over at ESH Upholstery can get you some very nice quality boots in whatever color leather and stitching that you'd like, get in touch with them

Didn't know that about the RE shifter but thanks for that info, I'll definitely be keeping my money

The parts hoarding continues. Today my HKS RS intakes and Blitz FMIC kit showed up straight from Japan.

That new PanSpeed kit you're putting together. How long did it take to get to the states?

Ah ok, some parts took longer than others. The bumper took the longest and it showed up almost 2 months after ordering. Most of the other parts however took about a month to show up. Not sure if you saw it on the classifieds but this body kit is still for sale, and since your local you would be saving a lot of $$$ in shipping
