@rmagic if there isn't one, we can meet on i95 or we can meet up at an exit where the turnpike and 95 are beside each other in west palm. Group up and head over to markham.

@narfle I chose a U.S based company that I can communicate with easily and stress free. Corksport has everything you need minus the fog lights. I won't be purchasing those for a little while. The total was under 2500 with a 110 dollars off from their rewards program shipped 4 weeks later.

Thanks, that's a classy mod. I stay on the fence about s6 v s8 front end, but you can't loose really.

I don't think you can until you go aftermarket and stray from oem.

I received the Brake ducts for the 99 front end today. In a couple days I'll be receiving the updated badges and decals front and back.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a Front License Plate for a Non USDM Frame that is Black and White lettering reading "RX-7"

I purchased for fun actual Japanese Plates that are registered to the Rx7 vehicle class code.

Take a pic of those brake ducts installed. I'm curious how they fit since that's the only 99 spec item I'm without

Ill be sure to take pictures for you. Its funny you say that you have everything but the ducts. I have everything but the fog lights, which I will pick up at a later date. And thank you for the link to the front plate. I just placed an order for one.

You may want some new bolts for the belly pan and brake ducts. I use these -

M6-1.0 X 25mm Hex Head Sems Body Bolt Zinc

Good plating, 10mm head, captive washer, etc. Much better than ancient rusty bolts or some weirdo hardware store bolts.

Do you need the brake ducts AND the Oil cooler ducts? Or just the oil cooler ducts?

I didn't get any oil cooler ducts. I know that feed makes a pair for the 99 bumper. How is the 99 bumper mate to the 93 oil cooler? Assuming from your question, will there be gaps?

The New 99 Mazda decals came in today. I'm missing the actual "Mazda" name plate because it is not available in the U.S., so hopefully it will start it journey here from Japan. Its nice that Mazda Motorsports allows me to purchase at cost parts for Racing.

I have read that the 93 ducts don't line up with the 99 bumper. I was asking how come you got the 99 brake ducts?

Can't use the stock ones?

Edit. As far as I know Rmagic makes the oil cooler ducts, never heard that feed does though

@7_rocket my mistake on the misinformation. Rmagic makes the oil ducts. Thank you for the correction. I will be adding that to my list to purchase. As for the 93 vs the 99 brake ducts, the 99 brake ducts reinforce the 99 under tray and create it to have more stability mounted to the 99 bumper along with adding air flow to the brake system. I see a benefit that the brake ducts offer when I'm autocrossing.

Right got you. My last FD I never ran the Rmagic ducts or even an undertray when I had the 99 spec bumper.

I have another FD and I'm stockpiling the parts for the conversion. I just need the lip but I might just use the undertray I have right now (c west bumper) and cut it to fit the 99 bumper

Not sure if you will need any other clips and bolts for the front bumper, but if you do that site is gold for all that good stuff. I have boxes and boxes of stuff from them .

When will the car go to paint?

@Dale Car is getting stripped, both windshield and hatch glass removed now

@7_rocket there are lesser costs to accomplish the same goal for the 99 face lift. I on the other hand wanted to not have to deal with modifying this and that and feel like the job I did wasn't good enough as a final product. So to avoid my harsh criticism on myself, I chose to get oem everything. I don't doubt my skill, but I beat myself up on it.

I picked up from Mazda a new radiator expansion tank since the bumper is so conveniently off. I want to take advantage to make the bay look cleaner while taking the older yellow tank out. I'm just upset that Mazda no longer makes the windshield wiper reservoir. I need to find a clean looking tank to replace mine. Does anyone know if the radiator reservoir and windshield wiper reservoir interchangeable and can be replaced by the other?

The two tanks are very different. I'm surprised that it's NLA, I've bought a few of them over the years.

May be available from Japan, might want to try rhdjapan.com

It's amazing how big of a difference the new tanks make under the hood, I always get people amazed by mine. I replaced both of mine a few years back.

There's probably some good used ones out there as opposed to the coolant tank that gets all funked up and can never get fully cleaned

And if you can't squirt fluid on your windshield while you are driving, are you really missing out?
