RamFabs FD Build

I was a very active member here a while ago when i had my FD. Something possessed me to sell it and I just got my hands on a very rough project. This FD has a clean title, but looks like the shop i go it from may have been after converting it to a drift car. The car has a roll cage that still needs to be finished and rust from the welding and letting the bare metal sit for a while outside. This is a complete shell and it does not have any form or wiring or anything. My main focus on it as of now is to eliminate the rust and get the whole car painted in and out. I have never started a build with a completely naked car so any help would be appreciated :-)

A little background about me in the last 4 years. I own a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 and i started RamFab to make parts for the car. I now produce Large intakes, IC kits, Crashbars and exhaust systems.

Here is a pic of the new 7 and a pic of my old one below.

You took on a hell of a project. Looks like you will get to show your skills for sure! Look forward to see what you are producing and where this build goes!

For sure, I am taking my camera to the shop to work on the rust under the hood and get some good before and after pics. I will try to update this as much as possible!

What are you cooking up for custom parts for the FD?
