Pics of My Build

Well I have been pretty busy this winter and I have my engine pretty much ready for install sitting in my basement, but I live in Wisconsin and its been like -10 degrees for the last month, so I thought I would post some pictures of my project. This is a T6 flanged garrett gt4276 turbo charger. The engine has 2mm aviation seals and a full bridge port. The intake and exhaust manifold are ported to match the engine. Will be running a nitrous efi wet kit as well and I have some pics of my new radiator, rims, nitrous, brake stuff, fuel pump, ect..... Well let me know what you think

turbodrx7 02-03-08 02:03 PM

Sweet man, nice build. Cant wait to see some number. How high do you plan to take the boost?

SENZA PARI 02-03-08 02:05 PM

I 17 pounds on just pump gas should put me around 450-475 rwhp, but I am going to get an alchy injection kit and then I can run will prolly run about 27 pounds which, depending on tuning should put me over 700 rwhp no problem.

turbodrx7 02-03-08 02:09 PM

Nice, should be pretty interesting. Who do you plan to have tune the car?

SENZA PARI 02-03-08 02:15 PM

Xavier at rx7club.net, I am should be able to get a decent base tune myself and run about 10-12 pounds, then Ill have to drive the car down to ohio and slap it on their dyno. I am not sure if anyone is to well know for rotary work in Wisconsin

yiaracer 02-08-08 09:32 AM

+1!!!! I would love to have a turbo that big! I wonder how laggy it would be?

rotorooter93fd 02-09-08 02:29 AM

nice build! i use to think the t88h was a big turbo but DAMN THATS HUGE!

SENZA PARI 02-09-08 07:37 PM

Turbo should not be too laggy, I should start making boost around 3900 rpm's and should hit full boost around 4800-5000 rpms

Here are a few more pictures of some stuff that I just got for my build up. The wheels are Veilside andrew racing wheels. 18x11 up front and 18x13 in the rear. Also got the 4 inch resonator for my exhaust and a new hks bov.

sevensix 02-24-08 07:48 PM

does the alternator work like that without the support on the side or are your adding that when u put a/c and power steering in

SENZA PARI 02-24-08 07:56 PM

yes, it works fine, it has the one support on there, I wll not be running ac or power steering though.

sevensix 02-24-08 08:08 PM

interesting. thanks for the info, thought that support was necessary. 1 less thing for me to worry about

rx7rcer09 02-24-08 08:25 PM

nice looking engine

sbnrx7 02-24-08 08:32 PM

18X11 up front and 18X13 in the rear? Holy crap. So you're going fender-less are ya?

SENZA PARI 02-24-08 09:03 PM

still looking at my options, might try the petitts in the rear, and I think the feeds up front should work with these wheels. Not positive, ill have to make them fit

rgordon1979 02-24-08 09:16 PM

Don't know what or plans are, but I would consider getting another belt on that water pump pulley. With that little contact area I am sure it will slip in the upper rpm range.

Looks good though!

SENZA PARI 02-24-08 09:28 PM

engine made 608rwhp last fall, no slipping on the water pump pulley, appreciate your concern though. The amount of engine power would have no affect on the slipping of this belt though, I dont even understand where the concern is comming from in this.

rgordon1979 02-24-08 09:32 PM

I was not referring to the amount of power the motor is making, that is irrelevant here.
As the rpm's increase, the resistance that the water pump impeller is up against increases, increasing the chances of slippage.

But you say it worked, go for it!

SENZA PARI 02-24-08 09:38 PM

redline will not be increased, so no increase in resistance will be felt. What other possible set ups might you be refering to as to change this?

rgordon1979 02-24-08 09:54 PM

Even with the stock redline I would be worried about it.

That is made by pineapple racing I believe.

SENZA PARI 02-24-08 10:25 PM

interesting, I thought about 90% of the people on this forum have the same setup as I do, but I can see that this setup would work well. I originaly did buy and idler pulley, and never put it to use, have not had an issue thus far.

rice-rocketeer 02-25-08 12:43 AM

On drag-race setups, I've seen people replace the pulleys to allow the installation of the same type of toothed-belt used to run superchargers on funny cars. Functional and looks bad-ass too. :coolkid01

jmeyer93 03-14-08 10:02 PM

608 rwhp thats just not fair lol!

SENZA PARI 04-06-08 04:16 PM

got a chance to work on my car

here are more pics, seats are mounted and fit great, I love them

Cgotto6 04-06-08 04:30 PM

Holy shit. What size are those tires? What are you going to use the car for?

RXtacy 04-06-08 04:40 PM

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...4&d=1207516464

Those rear tires are humungous. What kind of seats are those?

SENZA PARI 04-06-08 04:43 PM

you know, I got the seats off of ebay like 3 years ago and had them in my supra prior to getting the 7. I am not even sure what brand they are anymore, but I absolutly love them and they were a great price, I have fabbed up different brackets to mount them in each of my cars. They only weigh 12 pounds each with the brackets on. went with 1/4 inch thick aluminum brackets.

SENZA PARI 04-06-08 04:43 PM

tires are the hooser r6's and they are mounted on the veilside andrew racing rims

Sizes? Is this going to be a track only car?

SENZA PARI 04-06-08 07:44 PM

The tires are 345x35x18 and they are on 18x13 rims, the car is going to be street/strip

SENZA PARI 04-07-08 07:20 PM
