Yes, I've seen it. Could you take some more pictures? I'm interested to see the fit underneath.

Thanks man, I've been watching your build too... can't wait to see it done. Funny how our rear gussets look similar.

Justin workin' super late at night or I should say technically early morning...

Steering mount in...decided to go a little higher than what felt right, I can always adjust lower.

He also made fixed seat mounts for maximum head clearance. We made sure the seat position and steering was right where I wanted it.

Thanks, fab is nice! Seats not bolted down for the pics...clearance was fine when tested. We tried to move as far back as possible (long legs) and as close to tunnel as much as we could. I think we're good for now, but I can always fine tune seating and steering later when everything is in.

Thanks man! My motor from my crashed white FD will go in this one...it's a 13b with large street port, A-spec 500R kit with long runner manifold, 1.06 A/R, 3" DP. With RB duals and re-routed WG. On my last tune I brought her down to 410rwhp and 310ft/lbs at 14psi heat soaked and with conservative timing. The torque curve is what's important to me from 5k-7k.

For this set-up I'm planning on re-tuning with a new fuel set-up, only resonated mid-pipe with straight pipe out and a pre-turbo WI system... I'm looking to keep power around 450rwhp but with a lower boost pressure (less heat).

Ready to go get cleaned up and painted down at Seven Apple by Makito Nakai. He had done phenomenal body and paint work on my white one so this was an easy decision. http://www.yelp.com/biz/seven-apple-torrance

Thanks for not making a big fuss AAA tow truck guy!

Painful process of getting rid of the left over sound deadening and seam sealer...

^ Thanks man! Now get yours finished up soon so we can hit the track together!

Engine bay getting prepped for paint... I'm going with Ibis white on interior and engine bay which was the color on my other FD and my Audi.

Any body know any good chassis wiring shops?? I'm looking for a super simple set-up....Master switch, ignition, start, headlights, brake lights, etc...

Doors gettin' prepped for paint... I decided to keep the door beam in there, few extra pounds won't be a big deal.

Yes Jordan Innovations ftw. Mike, hit me up when you go, I need to speak to Jeff myself about my wiring. He is the best of the best and Jeff will help you with any wiring needs you have.

Are you going to run lexan and carbon body panels?

Actually been emailing Jeff already over the last month or so, just wanted to explore all options before committing with anyone.

I also spoke with another guy who builds control boards and switch panels to your own specs... looks like top notch work and seems very knowledgeable ---> RaceWire Solutions - Your Source for Complete Custom Wiring Just emailed him a list of my set-up for a quote...let's see what he says. Anyone here used him before?

Yes, I'll be running Lexan windows as well as carbon fiber vented hood and existing carbon hatch. I can also get a crazy deal on Seibon carbon doors, but I'd still need to cut open the inside for door bar clearance which would be a shame. Weight saving with stock cut door vs seibon cut door? maybe 10-15lbs a door? Is it worth it? Idk...

Ps: Build cost is really starting to add up...if anyone needs a home loan to either refinance or buy a house in Cali... rates are super low, hit me up!
