New Owner of a FD3S 53,000 km

Decided to try to save one of the "last" lhd Rx-7 in quebec. 53K Km, interior like new.

Exterior really nice for the 22 years but paint begin to crack on Hood lid and roof....

So new paint project

Nothing major, I don't see this car as an investment since i want to ride it but it's totally stock.... Even original 1993 tires..... The interior is like new

So I'm planning new paint, Obviously..

Wheels, Michelin Super Sport, Downpipe+turboback. I'M gonna see after that.

Ordererd a 99 spoiler.

Absolutely weld up the rear wiper (don't forget the squirter at the top of the hatch!) and consider doing the same to the rear antenna too.

What wheels/tires are you going with ?

****!!!!!.......

Probably michelin super sport.

My problem for the wheel is what is the "perfect Wheel size" ?

Checked the Wheel picture fitment thread but it's so hard to know if dropped or rolled fenders..

Very satisfying seeing all the proper prep work going into a paint job.
I feel excited for you. It's going to look great.

Agreed! There to many people painting cars in a garage, it makes me cringe. I can wait to see it done.

Take 2, After painting all the parts with PPG waterborne, ended up all red orange. After some test decided to go with Sikkens(Akzo Nobel). Getting ready for summer!
