Great to see the progress and cutting straight to the guts of it. It will be worth it to have the peace of mind.

Super clean build so far! I just did the same with my OEM wheels as well. Love the updates!

I had a local plating company here in Indianapolis do it. As for the fuse box/starter harness, I took the bracket out so I could paint it and installed it after I took the pictures.

Pretty proud of myself, fired up on the first try. Ran into one problem when we found an oil leak, turned out one of the oil cooler lines wasn’t fully seated. This was my first time rebuilding a rotary, so time will tell how good the rebuild really is.

I used a Koyo and modified the brackets to make it fit.

So I finally got it running and driving!!! It was 100% stock prior to the rebuild. I removed the OMP and I am now pre-mixing with 1oz of idemitsu per gallon. Is it normal for smoke to come out of the exhaust after turning the car off for a few minutes?

Not really. Are you running catalytic converters? They don't fare well with premix.

The first cat (pre-cat) is gone, but I’m still running the stock main cat.

Still needs a paint job, but she’s running strong and is a solid ten footer!

Sorry, I don’t get on here much. I live in the south side, I know of another red one and I’m pretty sure he’s from the north side.

Dropped the subframe to fix a oil leak and replace the bushings while I have it all apart. Also threw in the twin power mount I bought from code red performance on Facebook.
