well, for those following the thread...Took the car out for a drive Wednesday evening, she started to struggle - I did manage to get her back to the house and today was able to do a compression test: engine is dead again. #1 has a dead face and #3 didn't even register that I was cranking when attempting to compression test.

I will be deciding my asking price with blown motor over the weekend and officially list for sale next week.

 

Damn.. sorry to hear it went down. I would have suspected the NA to be running for years!! I am sitting on a C series and another FD "shell" trying to decide what to do as well. Put it in the touring shell or sell the shell and put the 3 in the R1 I have that's running. I thought about NA but I just can't. lol. How did you like the Defined mounts? I'm always curious.. if you were to do the project again.. what would you have changed? I'm still gathering data before I start.
