i completely agree with you man...i really dont lost that manifold...thats why im considering slicing the bottom of the UIM off right at the seam, and building a manifold box from the underside of the UIM down

since i just wrote that, i've really be thinking about this alot
basically building a plenum into the bottom of the UIM...that way i can keep it looking the same with the nice FD UIM...and the plenum will gain me the flow im looking for
what do you guys think???

let me get this straight you want the stock UIM going into a plenum, instead of a plenum going into the LIM? or am i completely off cause im quite confused VJ lmao

i was thinking something like this
the first pic is of a stock UIM
then in the second one, i added in the blue surround where the "plenum" would be made
the green line is the seam where i would cut to bring the plenum area down
let me know what you guys think

I think i that that sounds like a pretty good idea, but would you plan on changing the shape of the pipes going into the LIM or just keeping them the same?
nm i just looked at the pic and looks like there wouldnt be any reason to change it.

yup gona keep them the same...and basically just extend the bottom of the UIM downwards as much as possible

gota wait until the shop is open again though, we have 2 more IS-F exhausts to finish before i can bring my car in...probably next week

lol i hear ya. glad my tune is included in my bill. when i was rollin single turbo i had no tune running 5PSI...fml lol. i cant wait for this. did ur figure out an intake setup?
