Good as new ~
Wait this is new engine after all (*???*)
With dyno brake in , the engine had almost too good to true compression number with big port
But this number should change after engine warm up

Two long day of dyno session
Each night is battle to over night

Finally figures out the strange miss fire
One of leading ign coil wire Gone bad, and
Trailing coil was acting strange ,so replace with good spare

The final dyno number is at 1.3kg of boost
Why we stop at 6500rpm
Is I find out I have unstable fuel pressure over at that range

All this done with pump gas and no water injection

I did make some map for low boost for my endurance race , this just show maximum potential of this engine

seems abit laggy for a stock twin, are you running in non-sequential mode?

GCG high flow with larger compresser wheel
Suppose to be more laggy then stock

With fuel wiring done
Decide to update the fuel system completely
Afraid to get a fake fuel pump online
So I chose Bosch 044 fuel pump from http://pegasusautoracing.com
Not the cheapest place but for sure is all real 044~

Less then a mo before this years race
Mount my new tire wheel combo

18X11J RS05rr with 300/650/18 A005 M
From look of it, Is hard to tell with 11j. That could be a bit narrower to ideal setup
But on Advan catlog
They suggest 300/650/18 to mount on 11j if use in porsche setup and 12J to other GT
Don't know is tire contraction or engine position

But I think my home course is a bit on slow speed , so this can mater less

4 day before event
Still tuning the car on dynapack

Fighting a fuel pressure drop when car is hot

If u have enough information , every thing look scary but if u can pull it thought, will be trouble free season

Thanks for sharing!

I just finished reading this from the beginning, and you've given me a lot of inspiration for my own build, especially the twin-turbos. I haven't considered modified oem/hitachi turbos up to this point because it seemed too difficult to manage boost pressure with a ported engine and an open exhaust system, but you've changed my mind. Do the high-flow GCG turbos come with a ported wastegate?

Took me a while to post update for my last race~
Why the race get cancel, due to thounder storm that is larger then country!!!!!
The track was serveier flood.........
So after two outlap, I decide to pull in and want to start from pit, I figure there might be few accident, so even I start from pit
I might have good result

While I pull in, there is emergency meeting
Say our race get cancel

My GCG wastegate port size look like stock
They might use different spring

However I still running a tiny cat at end of tip (require by regulation) mabe this is why I don't have boost problem

Despite thunder storm
My qualify session still dry weather

However with wrong entrance timing I get hold up for few lap
With weather over 100f and humidity over 75% that really affect car performance

Beside weather , and timing
I think there is,few issue on setting it can improve
The front spliter too low, drag on corner at slower corner, this might be a reason my car feel more under then before at slower session

300/650/18 a,bit tall compare to 280, car seen to be lack on response

Rear spring switch to 24kg, but is too tall create too much pre-load, will switch to same weight but shorter

That track is pretty tight, you should pick up alot from a 5.12 rear end ratio.

After month of rain , not normal for this season
Weather finally dry out

Went to did some testing , when I clocking
My best lap time so far this season 1.51.4, only discover , I have very bad tire separation from my new A005 300/650/18, this usually happens on some old slick, but if this happens on new slick this could mean this slick is a very old stock from dealer, thus explain the grip is never I exoect from 300/650/18.......

Some update of car

Rear Rotor EGT seen to be high all this time
Even with xcessive manifold install
So decide to weld a two bug on manifold to shoot water injection directly to front and rear rotor runner, hopely will solove high EGT problem and have more Power too !!

made a quick video compare AI and none AI injection

upper video is the one with AI. this both test in same day . within one hour of session.
as lap result both are very similar. but as driver feel with AI car seen to be slower response on mid range.
but with benfit with lower IAT and EGT. i will run like this setup for quite a while

on one of my session t try few set out on boost seting. made a video of it

lap time different is .7sec

average top speed on most of end corner is about 6-7km

on high speed S1-3 is about .2 sec faster but car is similar at slow corner

Some update before final race
Dual A/I hope set up to solve high EGT issue
4.777 final drive with 1.5way lsd , with large port, low end response is worse, so with shorter final drive to help the response

330mm R magic rear brake, with rear weight bias more then 53% u need much more affect rear beaks need it

2 week before race
Knight sport water pump pully
Have some water temp issue, could be the engine redline is much higher
And endless me20 brake pad
Great pad as usuall , can last more then 100lap on this track
And this bad boy racelogic micro input
So i can data log up to five Chanel on my logger

Did a 4.77 test with only .8kg of boost(have some issue on Evc)

As I expect, with 4.77 , I have shift to 4th gear at turn 3 and last turn, using 4.4 I am right at sweet spot
this actually loose some time here
But at lowend pick up is,much better so once I fix my evc to high boost I should be able get some imporvent

Due to last race was cancel by storm
So from tomorrow to Sunday
We will be doing R2-R3 of one hour endurance
There are 7 TCR ( civic, Audi, seat)car joints the R3 of Race , what my plan is to use RE11-s as my R2 tire , to finish the race and get some point, and use new TCR spec Advan A005 slick at last round of race to see if I can beat some slow TCR at round3 (*???*)
