What brand blanks are you using? Do they have directional vanes? Also are you going to have your weds on for deals gap?

John,

The rotors do not have directional vanes. They are just OE replacements from my local parts store.

The Weds are done and are currently on a UPS truck somewhere on their way to me. The powdercoater took WAYYYY too long, but they should be here in time for Deals Gap so that is all that matters. I have the tires already waiting for the wheels to arrive

I was pretty disappointed I missed out on the event at NJMP last Friday with Scrub and Goodfella, but the car was not ready anyway. Once the wheels arrive and the tires get mounted it will be good to go so im hoping to make it to the next NJMP event. Not sure which one that is yet though.

That's the worst, I had similar disappointment earlier this year. When you have a track day set post it up, I'd love to be at the track with some other FDs.

john.. i love the progress on your car along with the photography...
In post #13 picture 1, you have a polished shroud over your engine bay. was this part specially made or was it bought?
Also did you feel a big difference in ride quality after the bushings?

Thanks

The radiator shroud is a custom made piece that is meant to work with my radiator which is in the vertical position (as opposed to slanted like stock). It seals to the top of the radiator and stops air from escaping from over top.

I did notice a HUGE improvement, but remember... my bushings were in very poor condition. It rear would clunk all the time and the whole rear of the car just did not feel very connected. I believe the biggest difference was from replacing the pillowball bushings and the inner bushing on the LCA. The OEM rubber bushings were worn, but in OK shape.
