Oh no! It sits horribly high.
I somehow measured wrong...

I decided to get rid of the plasti dip on my Advan AVS VS 5
Not the prettiest but nice enough for track.

I have wrapped the interior panels in Antracite. Turned ouy quite good. The gauge cluster was definitely the most difficult one. Good thing the wrap wasn't very expensive

I also finished the paintjobs I did where there was some damage, it turned out acceptable. Rattle

I hated the stock airbox, two pipercross 65mm filters and some aluminum tubing made a nice improvement. I decided to use quite small filters, so it will be easier to build some ducting later.

Took the car out for a drive for the first time of this season.
I had a boost issue, second turbo wouldn't come on.
I performed some fault tracing, and it ended up being a hose to the turbo valve.
After that was fixed the sequential system is working perfectly.

I spent some time designing a gauge pod in CAD since my friend recently bought a 3D printer. Today I received the piece and painted it. It turned out quite well, I'll share the cad file if anyone is interested.

The car passed inspection. I'm pretty happy with that, the emissions test was perfect.
I adjusted the map in the apexi and ran the air pump off a separate switch.

I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of wheel hop and a drive line slack I have.
I made a engine torque mount, it may have helped a little, but my issue still remains.

Nice congrats on passing emission. Why did u have to run the air pump on a separate switch?

Simply because it was super easy to rig.

I made a diff brace, it didn't stop my wheel hop. I'm terribly disappointed.

Wheel hop is pretty common with the IRS and short wheel base.

Try disconnecting the rear swap bar, adjusting your shocks, and dropping your rear tire pressures. Tire choice is important. Aside from that, make sure all your bushings are good.

Track day with friends.

The mazda worked really well.
Found out that very hard settings on the dampers was what really worked!
Tons of difference between the settings.
