Good work. Its coming together nicely :)
I would consider moving the FPR, or doing something with that fuel hose that snakes around above the turbine housing. Maybe swap the fitting that comes out of the FPR to a 90deg one or something to keep it away from the housing. |
If those hose ends are push lock, they are designed to be used with push lock hose. This type of fitting is not suppose to be used with clamps.

I thought I would add them for good measure, so I should remove them?

What type of water pump pulley is that. has it cut lines in the smooth back part of the belt.
|
Yes, its on my list to replace the pulleys, I have been looking at the pinapple racing idle pulley coupled with the racing beat pulleys.
Are there other options? Gilmer belts?

With the push lock hose connections do they need to 100% seated into the collar? A few are just a bit shy of being all the way on, I have tried pulling them off and they won't budge I am only guessing this is good enough, can post pics as an example.

Based on the pictures you posted, the hose seems a bit stretched over the push-lock barb fittings. Over time, the incorrect hose will heat cycle and eventually become brittle.... then leak. I have seen the aftermath of engine fires due to the use of incorrect fuel lines mated to push-lock style fittings. Please, save your self the headache and buy the appropriate push-lock hose and get rid of the normal fuel line you have on there.

You should reposition the front runner wastegate so the dump tube is not pointing up towards the engine bay.

Not sure if OP saw my previous suggestion, but please change the hose that comes out of the FPR (or move the FPR) That's a fire waiting to happen. Easy fix, put a 90 deg/right angle fitting coming out of the FPR, then put your hose on that to route the hose away from the Turbine housing. Just get the pineapple racing idler pulley kit. (not sure if you would need the normal one or the big turbo one). IMO Gilmer pulleys are a waste of time & money... and are slightly annoying.. People down here always throw them on their old non-turbo rotors so they make a whining noise. Then they think the whining noise adds a couple hundred HP LOL... |
Thanks, I did see the post and I am planning to move the fuel line and FPR, just seeing how things fit together.
The dump pipe is apparently incorrect for RHD so hopping a new one gets sent out, don't really want to plumb it back in but will if I have too.

agreed, unless of course its just mocked-up and going to be plumbed back into the downpipe :icon_tup:

So I needed to get a couple of blanking plates, one for the rear oil return and the ISC, found a great company in East Australia called Extreme Auto Parts, they where also kind enough to give me some submersible fuel hose, I can now redo the in tank pump 👍
