Hi! I recently started to modify my FD and now I am at a step where I'm not too sure what to do next. I bought the FD bone stock, and it's a 1992 JDM Type-R. My primary goal was to increase the car's reliability and try to keep the engine alive as long as possible. My second goal, is to keep the car in the 280-320(max) hp. I am not looking, to really play with the boost on this car, I like it the way it is. My third goal is to take the car to the track next summer. So far, I have installed an ARC air intake, GReddy SMIC, HKS Twin Power, NGK plugs wires (with new plugs), HKS Cat-back, TEIN Mono Flex (installing them soon ), ACT HD-SS Clutch, Fludyne Rad with Samco Rad Hoses, FC Thermoswitch, and I will install a DP(with a jetcoat) probably before this summer. I will have a few gauges going in too (Water Temp, Fuel Press, Oil Press and Air-Fuel).

Now, with that being said, what should be my next mods. I know a lot of people are taking about the Apex'i PFC with a tune, and others are talking about a boost controller (I have the GReddy ProFec II in my sight).I am a bit worried about boost creeps and spikes and I was wondering if the BC would be a helpful upgrade to maintain my boost at a reasonable level, or is it not necessary with the few mods I have done up to now. I am also considering going non-sequential in the future. So far I've been able to find a lot of helpful threads on the forum to point me in the right directions, but right now I'm kinda unsure about which way my build should go...

you are right my bad i guess i had something else on my mind at the time of writing that.

since i made an *** of myself i will tell you that you would really benefit from an aftermarket ecu
PFC is popular and easy to find at decent price, but talk to a few tuners in your area and find out what they have the most experience tuning and go with that. next would be wideband o2 sensor. if you have any tuning experience then i would opt for the datalogic or what ever software is specific to your ecu. overall looking at 1200 well spent dollors. an ebc will help with creep but everyone knows once you have a controller you will be tempted to play with it.
