Something simpler...like hewing a homestead in the New Zealand wilderness.
Final bid is far lower than I would ever accept. So I guess I keep the car for now, keep improving it and see if anyone follows up with a reasonable offer!
I think it was a mistake to not post it for sale for your asking price. With this being such a rare customized car running a $0 auction with an undisclosed reserve leaves any potential buyers in too much of a gray area. I would try posting it again for your ideal realistic sales price and allow offers below- the worst thing that will happen is another non-sale.
You need to pay someone or make some connections with an existing Youtuber to make a video feature on this car to get it exposed to the right audience.
This is someone with moneys dream car, they just dont know about it yet.

Actually a really good idea. Throttle and TJ Hunt are both into rx7's and 90's cars (TJ not quite as much anymore). Literally millions watch their videos and drool over the cars. They might think it'd be fun to share a video on your car.
Carsandbids by Doug DeMuro? I recently sold a car on there with success, but it doesn't get the traffic BaT does yet...and they're not geared towards heavy mods either.

Yeah, it was a long shot, I was mainly curious to see where it would go starting from $0. I will be listing it soon with fresh photos for a fixed price OBO.

Hopefully I don't need to go this route, I don't have much tolerance for the YouTube crowd.

I actually just finished talking with Cars and Bids. They were keen to list it, however we were miles apart on the reserve (read tens of thousands of dollars apart - they wanted a reserve less than I paid at auction in Japan before doing all the mechanical work). I appreciate they are after a high % of sales and therefore want as low a reserve as possible, but I am not willing to take an unnecessary financial risk.
Looking for offers in the region of $75,000 CAD.
However – ALL serious offers will be considered. I am keen to get the car sold this year, so please get in touch.
Turn Key, heavily modified RX7 with extremely rare Fujita Engineering (FEED) Afflux Ver V widebody kit - number 11 of only 17 worldwide (confirmed via email from FEED).
This is the only Afflux Ver V in Canada, there is only one in the USA. To my knowledge the rest are in Europe and Asia. I have all paperwork for the car (import documentation and receipts for all work done since it arrived in Canada). Car was manufactured in March 1996 and first registered in Japan in June 1996. It is therefore 25 years old for USA import purposes. Car is currently registered and road driven here in Alberta, Canada.
The car has had significant engine and electrical work carried out by a very reputable rotary tuner (ForceFed Performance Turbos & Tuning of Abbotsford BC, Canada). There has also been aftermarket upgrading of the suspension, brakes and interior. All of this work has been completed in the last 2,500km (car was imported with 146,890 km on the clock and now has 149,010 km on the clock).
The car was recently on the dyno at a local shop Vex Performance (May 2021) to make some corrections for the altitude. At 3,400 feet the car made 382 rwhp. It has been de rated to 356 rwhp on a conservative 91 octane pump gas tune. The car fires up first time to a stable smooth idle hot or cold without issue. Recent compression test (May 2021) adjusting for altitude and rpm:
A list of parts used on the build is as per below. All parts are genuine. Many of these are extremely rare or discontinued. It doesn’t take long to see how much money is in the build. I can provide the cost of all parts upon request. The car currently sits on 20” Hyper Black Advan GT wheels as per photos .

In the spirit of full disclosure:
Rear pillowballs and bushings – I believe these are original, but there are no clunking noises coming from the rear and everything is functioning without issue.
Transmission - I believe it is original. It is working well with no grinding. Only comment is a notchy transition from 1st to 2nd.
Some of the undercarriage components have minor surface rust as you would expect for a car of this age.
No air conditioning
Air pump and catalytic converters have been removed
A portion of the interior plastics in the rear hatch area have been cut to accommodate the KTS rear tower bar.
There is a small patch of sticky residue on the passenger footwell plastic from a Japanese toll booth card reader. I have not been brave enough to use any chemicals to remove it.
Paint – overall excellent condition having recently been polished. Although it looks gloss black especially in the shade it is a metallic black with colored sparkle (see close up photos). Please note that there are the expected small scratches and rock chips from a road going vehicle. There is also a small paint bubble (smaller than a quarter) on rear bumper, but this cannot be rust as its fiberglass. There is a thin 1” scratch on the drivers side rear quarter panel. There are a couple of chips on the rear spoiler – I assume it must have hit something when the hatch was raised. The carbon weave is intact so I fully expect it can be made good as new with some clear coat patching.
Hey, what size Vibrant IC clamps did you use on the Efini pipe near the hot side of the IC?
Seems like they only have 2.5" and 3" and I thought that was 2.75"...
Thanks.
