You're damn right! :)

Looks great. Glad you're happy with the SBG lights :icon_tup:

Nice ride. The headlights look very nice.

Did you have problem with the strut bar clearance. My setup is really similar to yours, same IC, banzai brace, same airbox, aftermarket engine mounts, same color, same color wheels. Since I put the banzai brace the strut doesn't clear anymore. Have you put some washers under the strut ends?

Thanks

I really like the way the SBG lights turned out for you, and honestly will probably purchase them after seeing them on your car. Glad there's an option to keep a little of the 90's nostalgia the car has with the pop-ups. Looking forward to see what you do with this one. :icon_tup:

Either your motor mounts are a lot taller than stock or your trans tailshaft is way too low, causing the front of the engine to sit higher. You can raise the tailshaft by adjusting the PPF alignment. We have never needed to install washers under the strutbar.

Luke, the car is looking great!

Wow, very sweet build! Are you keeping those Advans or the SSR ? Both look awesome by the way.

The front shot is my favorite. Such a beautiful car, very well executed.

No radio?

EFS.O 04-26-12 02:31 AM

wow...!!!!

RCCAZ 1 04-26-12 08:00 AM

Very nice! Great job. Which side mirrors are you running? Craft Square? Are your front and rear Mazda emblems FD off of 99 and newer FD, or something else similar?

RENESISFD 04-26-12 08:14 AM

^ The mirrors look like APR.

RE-Mamamia 04-26-12 12:18 PM

yes, the mirrors are from APR

Flying_solo 04-26-12 01:25 PM

I cannot wait till mine looks this good! You are my inspiration.

Talex37 04-26-12 03:58 PM

BEAUTIFUL!!! What are the specs on wheels/tires? The ssrs look pretty good, except the rear looks a little sunk. Try using a spacer?

P.S. Needs MORE PICS!!

RE-Mamamia 04-26-12 07:35 PM

the wheels are 18x9.5 +22offset but with the rear fender job, it'll take a wider setup. Not into the hellaflush thing but I will probably put 10 or 15mm spacer in the rear. Tires are 255/35/18.

Waiting for more parts to show up but I am pretty happy with how the exterior and the engine turned out.

Nice pics. I think I'm definitely convinced that black wheels are the way to go on CYMs (vs bronze).

Can you run spacers that wide without stud extensions?

Talex37 05-06-12 01:23 AM

You don't need extended studs if you are using bolt on spacers. Bolt on spacers have their own set of studs coming off of the spacer.

Thanks for mentioning the wheel specs. What are your alignment settings?

P.S. I Hope you don't get mad, because I totally saved all your pictures xD

Only if your wheels have holes to hide the original studs or let them poke through, if not then you'll have to run 25mm mininum so the original studs won't stick out.

OP, vey clean CYM :icon_tup:
