This car is at IRP to get some work done and I have to say that Andy has done a GREAT job with the interior (leather door skins, grey-painted plastics, SR red-stitched pieces) as well as the exterior.....BBS plus TGM paint
Without fail customers that come by always have to check out and compliment the car, including some super-hot GFs too

Firstly, i was laughing so hard I cried when I first saw that video.
Secondly, poor Dr. Choi's stock twins are making the dreaded dentist drill noise. The front compressor wheel is hitting the housing due to excessive shaft play. No bueno.
Along with that, his main pulley has a distinct wobble to it that we've known about for a while now. It seems to be getting worse, and has been verified to be the snout of the e-shaft which is bent. The engine makes very good compression (and has endplay that's in spec) but coupled with the bad turbos we've decided to pull the engine out and go into it while everything is still running with no problems.
It's a JDM block that was in the car when he bought it. One theory is that it was knocked over during shipping from Japan. Rotary Performance had something similar happen years ago.

It look great.
I will be looking for a Spirit R in a year or two. Just need to figure out if i can get it registerd here as a historical car or not. As the goverment stopped registration of RHD cars about 4 years ago As there is no Spirit R cars here i think i might be able to get it registrated
Do you have access to buying a car in Japan and have it shipped off?

Thanks man. Alot was done. I mean its still just super stock but everything that could be done to increase reliability and decrease underhood temps was done. The whole chassis was pretty much refurbished as well. I have truck liner in the trunk and the bottom of the chassis was sprayed with some stuff to protect it.
