TX Build Thread 13B-REW

So the engine started its life in a 93 Automatic Montego Blue FD3S residing in San Antonio texas.....the owner blew a coolant seal at around 60-70k miles.....considering a rebuild....his tuner shop co-owner brother which is a nissian/mistubishi guy talked him out of rebuilding it because they think a 2jz swap would be better.....(that wont be the first second third fourth or 12th 2jz swap...lol) Well we grab the blown coolant seal shortblock from these fellows and bring it to a good home.....its getting half bridged and a few other goodies like Cryotreament, Shotpeening, then WPC treating the bearings, gears and wear surfaces Izumi-San (president of WPC mentioned the Irons are really great items to WPC and if anyone is interested i have the price list for all the parts of a 13B to get WPC just shoot me a PM. Well using modified stock twins, we will be using Greddy intercooler parts, modded Throttle body and a few other goodies.....BUT thats the easy part.....the hard part is getting this thing to fit right.....

I hope so. I haven't seen anyone do this with this motor and this chassis before....AND we are using S5/S6 transmission and RWD converting it....thus making it a Highway, street, Drift, Gymkhana car and not dealing with the poor quality Subie parts....ONTOP of using a Nissian R200 differential because well...those are CHEAP and very strong and wont be too hard to fit into the rear end...Thanks for check it out!
