I think you should focus on 1 thing only till you actually finish it, and not on various projects at the same time, that way you can pay attention to any flaws that you get as you build/creat them. Cause then you won even finish one

finally got around to adding a flange to the opening side. this gives it more dimension and adds rigidity. also used a round over bit to give it a nice radius. no harsh 90* angles here!

alllll most donee. hopefully this will be the last body filler layer and i can just get away with primer for the rest *fingers crossed*

hand milled a transmission spacer.. this is 3/4" thick and allows me to add more tranny fluid. approx. 0.6QT or 19oz. I'm gonna attempt to make a 1" version. Now to source some hardware!

Not much update today.. I spent most my day picking up this puppy =) a Nice old Cincinnati Vertical Mill =)

So with that taking up majority of my day, I started late and only worked an hour or so... so by the time finished the second prototype of the door panel it was too dark to take a picture...

more updates tomorrow!

well maybe.

PS I admit, at first when i saw door panels like these I was like how hard could it be, its a flat panel........... hahah I'm learning what a PITA it actually is.. so many minor tweaks to get it exactly how I want it.... but im almost there! =)
