sounds rich... Love 1/2 bridge's though!! congrats. Is your Down pipe and manifold completely tightened down etc? Looks like you might have an exhaust leak somewhere over there...

its very rich. injector dutys like 15-17% at idle. and idle is like 1800-2000. its a base map so im assuming my tuner made its extra rich, he likes to play it safe...

i think the dp/manifold connection was a little loose and i tightened it after that. i also just put that heat wrap on so i think thats what was causing the smoke too. if not its probably the dp to exhaust. since its an ol greddy vband its a BITCH to align. i dont believe it smokes still.

does anyone know what would cause me to have an abnormally high vacuum? at idle im avg 27-30mmgh.... i should be at like 10-15 with a hbp.............

That's probably because your idle is 2k rpm. If you drop the idle I bet the vacuum comes down to normal.

hahaha thanks guys!

fixed the rads. Thanks a TON to Dave @ Kdr (speed1) for help pointing me in the right direction. turns out i connected the ground wire from the fan motors and the relay....... so the wires that were suppose to be grounded, were connected to each other.............. huge fail haha.

now it seems like theres a loose connection to one of my wires on my pfc. when it moves sometimes, the connection is lost and there is no spark and the commander doesnt come on... anyone know which wire i should be looking at?

If it doesnt run, Fake it.

Update: my oil feed to my turbo was leaking so i tightened it and the an fitting broke. and i mean in half. so there goes another 50 to order a new line. i went with the push lock lines and rubber hose bc im sick of getting cut up by the ss braided lines.

also, powder coated my alt pulley which came out like crap. but hopefully it will be hidden and you guys wont notice it. my pc gun seems to crap out on me just like my car, wahoo!

Those SS lines hurt like hell. I just use the black nylon now. I think they look cleaner anyways.

yeah man. the ss lines HURT.

update: car issues should be good. found the wire that was uncrimped. what pisses me off the most was i checked it the other day and some how over looked it! it was the B/W wire that is the 12v 7.5amp... i wish i understood electrical cuz I probably would have figured this out sooner.

thanks to my buddy ted for stopping by and letting me test my ecu on his car, if not, id probably be looking for an ecu now and still have a cut wire!

now the waiting game begins, hopefully my fittings from jegs shows up tomorrow so i can FINALLYYYY drive her =)

Feeling lazy. switched my turn signal assembly so now my turn signals actually activate my blinkers. i put the blower back in, started painting the gauge cluster plastics. ive already face the fact my interior sucks its kinda half assed. i want to drive the car too much to be finking around making things pretty.

parts on order
4" vband for exhaust
latches/clips for my quick release bumper
oil fittings and lines for me oil feed line
will be ordering a new muffler (bigger to reduce the noise) and an oil adapter for my oil press gauge

That's awesome news man! I'm glad you found the issue not to be a bad ecu but, rather just a simple wiring problem!

Thanks phrost!

pic whoring

So main issue right now is its running super rich. 10.5 ish afrs except idle 11.8-12.0. currently trouble shooting it now. if you have any idea take a look at this thread:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...1#post10736104

on a side note. the little slit in the UIM is freaking awesome. i did it initially for looks but today im doing some diagnosing and it doubles as an inspection hole. PERFECT for checking if your injectors or omp is leaking!

ugh. womp womp.

Well might as well post an update. so i was trouble shooting with anthony nyc for a little bit and we decided to decrease my fp.. as soon as i adjusted it the afrs went up slightly. so now were assuming its the tune not the injectors. another interesting thing i found out is my FPR gauge (jegs) is reading 31psi but my stri gauge (before the FPR) is reading ~47psi.....

BUBBLE TECH VMIC-this thing is ****. mind u im still on a single oil cooler (waiting to have lines made for my dual) given it hasnt been the hottest, this thing runs coool and i havent even added ducting yet!

Idles-83-85c
cruising 85c
WOT- tba (breaking in motor)
traffic-86c
HOTTEST ive ever got it was 88c. and thats when im driving, turn the car off run into the store and turn it back on.

prior to this set up my idle temps were approx.
idle-87-89
cruise-89-91?
WOT-vary
traffic-91+
after driving turn the car off and then turn it back on could see high 90's until fans brought it down...

cant wait to see what happens when the dual oil coolers go in!
