im not too sure.. ive had it for almost a year now and i havent decided on the look i want... i REALLY want the sanai front but might keep that as a spare or for the track or when i feel like fitting in? haha idk it needs work tho....

muibubbles Dec 23, 2010 01:20 AM

a little update! still working on the garage... i think i want one or two more shelvves... other than that once its garbage day i can toss some junk and should be able to get the car in and ge to work!

http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC_0052.jpg

Stole this idea, tool cubby. my favorite storage yet.
http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC_0054.jpg

added a side shelf on the left of the tool box and added another shelf above.. (which was a fail. i didnt think to measure the height or anything so i occasionally bump my head.......) there will be a light underneath the shelf projecting onto the table
http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC_0056.jpg

managed to clean up some too
http://i426.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/DSC_0058.jpg

pics of the booth... still not done, need add light, run an extension cord, make a permanent ceiling, finish wall that faces the garage door, add shelves inside for powder coating materials

why you keeping the busted fan that broke last time I was there lol what kind of work does that bumper need?

Narfle Jan 4, 2011 07:58 PM

Sick wheels.

MR_Rick Jan 4, 2011 08:08 PM

I so need to clean up my garage. Now that I'm done with the mayor "fab work" with the interior panels I guess I could.

Cool project. Threads like this motivate the hell out of me.

I'm not sure what VMIC I want, kind of waiting on some one t get the new Greddy unit so I'm going to stick with the Pettit SMIC for a little bit.

Polak Graphics Jan 7, 2011 08:42 PM

Yea, gotta dig up the TB. Haven't entered the garage in weeks.

how about those 99 spec's... they could port matched to the gasket size and the wg. Port them like Garfinkle offers but keep them still in sequential form.

Might have to scoop those too, my twins are giving me a warmup smoke show.

muibubbles Jan 7, 2011 11:01 PM

haha why not? no fd love?

i also remembered i have ur alternator... i saw how dirty it was and i was like wtf??? then i was like haha cant be mine, then remembered i borrowed yours just incase lmao...

99 blah im over em, they arent 100% but it you want em ill sell em uber cheap..

more pics, did some work, finally cleaned out the garage space to pull the FD in and have the garage in good enough shape to start car work.

I actually want to marry your garage :/

JBarron Jan 11, 2011 06:39 AM

This is great. I love the car and garage. What Hobart is that (I have a Handler 187, it's great). I was wondering specifically about color-matched door handles on a white FD, it looks very nice. White is one of those colors that just really shows off the lines of the FD. Great Job!

to_slow Jan 11, 2011 09:08 AM

Can you come by and clean my tool box :)....... Verry neat - clean... Nice project....

i believe it is the hobart handler 180... idk if there is a difference.. but i might be making that up and it might be a 187? lol i havent even turned it on yet, im kind of intimidated by it... i start my welding classes on the 19! =)

the white handles arent by choice, i got the car like that but i definitely dont hate em.
