In my personal opinion the painted lip only works if you have the OEM side skirts to keep the lines going. The front lip looks a bit out of place to me.
They're meant to scrape on the ground and flex, which makes paint look like crap. Car's still sexy AF, tho. |

Took the car to IRP and had them add a new Walbro pump, an HKS twinpower and John Renna tuned it on the powerfc.
Car made great power for stock twins. Attachment 605971 366/339 but the best part about a working sequantial system is the almost 300ft of torque at 2700rpm. The other red line in the 4s is for a set of BNR's they did on another car for comparison |
Where did you get the Recaro`s? What model head unit is the Alpine?

I'm looking for ways to have a rattle free interior to and will be interested to see how your adventures goes. |
Car looks great. Very similar to how mine will likely look.

Looking good. Do you know when you plan on having everything done in the interior?

Great build so far! Your giving me some ideas on what to do with my white FD haha

I used plastic weld on anything that was broken or cracked and was salvageable.
http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...68842379DF.jpg Bought some cheap felt tape from Amazon and added it to all the panels I put back. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...3C352FCD99.jpg Replaced all the old crusty clips with new ones. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...88BFD6838B.jpg Added more under carpet insulation under the bins and the floor http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...684CC1C047.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...0553B1A2E5.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...6EDD2B4756.jpg Most of my interior rattling came from the middle section where the rear bins are, figured I'd go all out there, biggest pain is that most of the attachment points on my rear bins are broken so figuring now how to redo those. |
Adding felt tape is smart.

I don't know if you are taking the interior plastics out or not, but putting some very thing felt between them will eliminate some creaking.
Hope to have it finished by the end of the month, progress has been slow as the x5m is being replaced by the new daily and needs to be de-modded and posted for sale. |
Please post your offset for the Advan GT. I know I asked you on IG but I forgot
|
Yet another nice CW build :icon_tup:
